I would prefer our elite scouting department to be identifying and targeting the 'next' Eriksen not the original who was a great player for us between 2013 and 2018.

I prefer to remember Eriksen and the rest from that era with fondness. The last season at the Lane etc. With Wanyama, Dele, Dembele, Vertonghen etc.

I get that people don’t want him back, but these efforts to purposefully forget or rewrite his Spurs career are annoying.
He was fucking brilliant for us, for a consistent period of time. He was also absolutely run into the ground by Poch, who had him covering the entire pitch almost single handedly.
Yes, he tailed off towards the end. Personally, I think he’s physically shot. Started young at Ajax, he’s already played more professional football than most others around him.

Thank you. I don't understand this fanbase's obsession with Eriksen, the guy wanted to leave and had the worst last season ive ever seen. There is no way in hell we should be getting him back. Guarantee you he would be worse than Bale is right now. It would make no sense.
Until yesterday we were starting Harry Winks in league matches, of course there is a space for him. I'd much rather have him than Lucas, Winks or Sissoko. Even in his cack last half-season he produced better numbers than Lo Celso and he's always fit too.
In this very difficult pandemic market we have to be pragmatic. If we can afford to bring Eriksen back then we should do it, our squad has so little quality in midfield. Who else could we get? We don't have the money to buy anyone at the moment.

4. Fee. Transfer fee unlikely to be high. Probably less than we sold him for.

He's still one of the best creators in Europe and overall better #10 than Tanguy/Gio

He WAS better. Now he’s just another washed out member of Pochs 2016-2019 Nearly Men who didn’t live up to the hype when presented with numerous shots at silverware.
