You think that RM considering signing him to a cut rate deal to back up Benzema is the same as them fighting to sign him and make him one of the highest paid players in the world like he was at PSG?

Keep living in that fantasy world where 33 year old Cavani is not declining. It is an odd take that makes zero sense but that seems par for the course for you.
Oh look, backtracking, There's a surprise...

You said - if he was a free agent in his prime he would be linked to RM - as you thought he wasn't being linked to the 'big' clubs.

You were wrong (again), take the loss and move on.

Linked to RM as a starter for big money. That is quite a bit different from them seeing that he hasn't signed yet and taking a look to see if they can get him on the cheap.

But keep pushing this moronic idea that 33 year old Cavani is not on the decline when every piece of evidence shows it to be undeniably true.

Take the loss, making yourself look silly now (again)...

I'd much rather we signed Cavani than Suarez. £170k a week is a big wage but Kane is on £200k so it doesn't break the wage structure. It's not a long-term signing but definitely one that can improve the squad.

There is no "loss" to take.

Cavani is obviously declining, he is getting zero offers close to what he had at PSG and there is zero chance he comes here to be the back-up to Kane which is the only role he could fill at his current level, so it really doesn't matter at all.

Post all the Tom Cruise gifs you want it doesn't change the fact you are clearly wrong.
