And as I said. Stuff like that is right up Barnett's wheel house. He does stuff like this all the time when he tries to take focus off a deal. He denies that a deal is happening until it is done.

Him saying that he doesn't have the Getafe president's number whilst actually hashing out a deal would not be surprising at all. He is under no obligation to be transparent about it.
