When Kane returned from injury, completely out of form he started over Lucas who was banging goals in, single handedly dragged us to the final and was in the form of his life.
If Son comes back he's not replacing anyone having that much of an impact. If he's fit, he plays. Given what he has given to our club I'd say he fully deserves it. Could have walked when Harry did but he stuck with us during difficult times.

It's actually laughable to say Moura was banging in goals. He got 3 in about 25 minutes away to Ajax.

Lucas Moura did a wonderful thing in Amsterdam, he will forever be remembered and, rightfully, praised for that.
But he was fucking shit most of the time outside of that one half of one game.

I'm not advocating for Son, although he does deserve to at least get minutes on the pitch in the final. Not 3 or 4 either. But agree he's been pretty shite for a long time. I think he offers less between goals than Johnson and gets less goals.
I just get fed up with people making out as though Moura was on fire in some way. He wasn't. He never was.

Moura had bags of flair - even if Harry was fully fit - there would have been benefits to starting Moura over him.

We need options in the bench . Tel and Son and pretty good ones to have,
He should not start. He's been good as an impact sub, but he can't keep it up anymore as a starter. Besides, when will we ever learn from our past mistakes ffs? It's 2019 all over again.
Very frustrating to watch though, as we've seen the best of him, and his current lack of impact is so clear to see. Maybe using him as a sub on Sunday would be of more benefit all-round?
