Surely our set piece guru will get Conte to put Son on them.
Strongly suspect in training H smashes them in, but has tension in his muscle memory in games which stops the training replication.
He’d definitely get more goals trying to poach rebounds after the kick at this point.
God we are bad at free kicks! Son on a 20% success rate, but a very small sample size…

Also I’m pretty sure dier hit the bar on one and we scored off the rebound.
Free kicks are about putting it on frame and making something happen. If Kane put 30 difficult ones on frame, I’m sure a keeper would have let one in.
From a female perspective I have to agree. Son is more in the ‘ah, what a sweetheart´ zone for me. I seem to feel the same about a few of our longer established players, it’s like seeing your brother pose in their undies. (Except my brother is 59 and has a beer gut, so that’s a poor analogy.)I don't mean anything bad with it, but it feels very un-Sonny-like.

Anyway, good for Son and I think this is the start of his next big purple patch, just in time for tomorrow.
