Son's purple patches before usually involve absolute screamers. He isnt even having to do that at the moment. Dont get me wrong his finishing has been quality but his runs have changed since Mou came and he has been turned into a monster.
Getting the upgrade Mourinho gave Ronaldo at Real Madrid. More focus on using his pace, and energy for decisive movement, than being the ball carrier.

When he got on the pitch you could immediately feeling the energy of what he is becoming more and more: a leader, still maintaining his flamboyancy.

What an immense player and what a pair with Harry!

True. There were instances in the previous seasons where it seemed like they were sometimes ignoring each other. Even in that Everton match, there was a couple of occasions where one of them ignored an easy pass to the other to put him through. But something happened during that Southampton match and ever since that, they are passing to each other even when in good positions to shoot themselves. Long may this continue.

They have been ignoring each other about 100 times a season since 2015. That's conservative like 3 a game? Imagin number of goals not made points not picked up. Immense. This is actually the first year they are playing as they should. Guess late is better than never and no doubt here because things look good and the team starting to look glorious.

He's always had periods of pure class interspersed with pretty average performances. But he now looks as if has added consistency to his game, making him lethal. Long may it continue.

At 28 this is now his prime - expect 2 massive seasons
