Winks, Alli, Sissoko, Dier, Sanchez, Davies had no problem playing real Madrid off the park and concistently getting top 4 finishes year after year.

Depends how you want to play. Liverpool don’t have an Eriksen type and didn’t last season either but spread the creative burden around the team.
We have a very good set of players at least in attack. We just need a manager with a system to use them just how Tuchel is at Chelsea. Our current attack plan is to boot the ball up to Kane and hope shit happens, it’s sometimes does but it means we don’t use our midfield in any constructive way.
Agree on Liverpool. They used their full backs to create for the strikers, and their midfield to push the oposition and win the ball back. Winks would actually be a perfect fit for Liverpool and I can imagine they would love Alli to replace Firmino.
The squad is better than what we are seeing at present. Earlier in the season we were top of the league and we have got to a Cup final. There are poor players in the other squads near the top of the table as well. Neither the Manager or the players are performing at present and changes are required but it can turnaround quickly in the same way we turned around from top of the table to mid table.
I'm not certain what the implications of this are but Spurs have the biggest gap between the best and worst regular starter in the league. Kane to, say, Sissoko or Dier is an incredible drop.
I have to imagine that having such an unbalanced team is a serious problem - one that probably goes underappreciated - because the good players end up getting frustrated by the bad players and vice-versa, destroying squad harmony. I reckon a team stuck in 15th with everyone of a similar ability level would actually be a much happier place to play.

Not sure what people are on about playing Madrid off the park. That was an absolute one off and if these players are any good you would’ve seen it in the countless games they featured in.

Not just Kane and Lloris, many of our other players have been playing exactly the same irrespective of managers. Same players got 25 points in Pochs last 24 league games, and many of them are shit even now. Consistency. Still it doesnt excuse the 15m a year man to not improve them at all. The bus parking specialist cant park the bus properly anymore.
A big part of Firminos job is to make passes, drag defenders out of position, dropping back to get the ball so that Mane and Salah are able to get the ball in space behind defenders. Alli is terrible at all of that.
I am not sure there are two players much different in what they do and are good at than Dele and Firmino. Alli would be a terrible fit for Liverpool and Klopp.
