Seriously just how fucking good was he last night.

Brilliant last night. I was worried he hasn't looked the same since that knock to the head as he's made a few uncharacteristic errors. Back to his best last night though. We would not have won if Brad had been playing.

His form taking an awful dip in recent weeks, could it be to do with that incident few weeks back? he has went from out best performer to are biggest liability. yet another alarming problem

Nothing to do with having a back four that changed every game? :townhmm:
I'm not surprised he's had to come out to meet the ball at certain times as it looks like he doesn't feel confident in the players in front of him! I wouldn't either when we play a high line with someone who gets marooned on his own and isn't quick enough to react to certain things (Dawson). Don't wanna dig out Dawson as I have always loved him but it's time for him to move on in my opinion. Once we get a solid settled back four Hugo will be back to his very best.

Hardly our biggest liability. But I defy you to find a man alive with a brain worth protecting inside his skull who takes a hit like that and doesn't see some after effects.

Comments were made about his perfect timing when coming out for the ball prior to Lukaku's knee smashing into his head. For me, his form has dipped but we can only hope that he does get over it sooner rather than later. Probably going to just have to ride it out for now.

Don't know about you guys but I'm a little concerned about his current tendency to keep punching the ball when he should be comfortably fucking catching it. Has he always been a 'puncy' keeper because I swear I don't remember him doing it so excessively last season?

Always been a punchy keeper. As said, his decision making seems a bit iffy since his knock. It'll clear eventually though and he's one of the World's best, so patience is needed, and certainly not dropping.

Tottenham’s Hugo Lloris: I want to be ‘boss of the area’ :llorisserious:

“Let’s say in England football is different than in France, notably in game speed,” Lloris told France Football. “No one is giving up too. I discovered that coming here.

“In England there is a lot of contact in the box, a lot of quality crosses. A lot of presence too. Here, the keeper is less protected than in France or in European competitions. It is important to know to fight, notably on corners.

“I have always heard I am not strong enough, I didn’t have the right body for that league. That is no trouble to me, as long as you know your body and your qualities and drawbacks.

“Since I have been in England I didn’t rush into body-building. I have gone on working as I did in France, but adapting to the different approach of the keeper’s position.

“I always had a risky game. I have always tried to control my box, and even a bit further away.

“I want to be the boss of the area. Then, sometimes you get success, sometimes not.”

Fav player after the beast. He just doesn't give a fuck. Sure with his style of play your sure to get the odd blunder but the way he controls his area is world class.

When you see a side break against us and the cameras haven't caught up you just know Loris is gonna pop into the picture with a crunching tackle (winning the ball to boot)

Not so much lately.

I haven't seen a 90-minute performance from Hugo since Craven Cottage in early December. We need him on top form for the remainder of the season if we are top push for top 4, particularly playing as open as we do under Sherwood as we are bound to allow more shots on goal.

Absolutely. Because if we dont make top 4, he is off in the summer.
