Why does it have to take 300 people?
We're going to have to accept what we get will be fucking shite. The home club can film it. If any film gets out the home club are in the shite.
The commentary could well be as the video is broadcast "live"
No fans means a barely staffed stadium. There's absolutely no need to have more than a bare skeleton staff around. Ambulance can be on standby but the medical staff do not need to be inside watching the game.
You think 300 is high? Wow

If they're talking doing it at neutral grounds just to keep fans away, then I have a much better solution.

Play the games, at home, as they should be, behind closed doors.
Here's the trick, don't tell anyone when they're playing. Record it. Don't report on it. No leaks. Play it back at the scheduled time as if it's totally live.
It's very hard to achieve such with the availability of drones and satellite technology, unless played underground which is possible at the NWHL stadium to convert the car park into a playing tramac pitch. Any NCP car park will do. 😀

All that will happen is teams down the bottom will claim one of their players has symptoms and the rest of the squad and staff will have to self isolate, meaning they won’t be able to fulfil their game schedule.
Thinking the season can be completed without these type of incidents is as ludicrous and delusional as it gets.
Who ever is pushing for the season to resume and be completed is a moron.
Agree with the moronic pursuit of finishing the season but You know i think they'd have thought of that point of teams using the self isolate thing for there own gain and use a 'pools panel' type system to get a result of a postponement.

Cunts prob pushing for 2 rounds only so the victims can win it

I can imagine it will be something along these lines, hence why they shouldn't think about restarting the season. Every which way it's going to be a disaster and a mockery.

The article reads like the government has opened the door, but the PL hasn't decided yet. Is that accurate?

go to town...

PS: Page 30 Step 2

The content and timing of the second stage of adjustments will depend on the most up-to-date assessment of the risk posed by the virus. The five tests set out in the first chapter must justify changes, and they must be warranted by the current alert level.

They will be enabled by the programmes set out in the next chapter and, in particular, by continuing to bolster test and trace capabilities, protect care homes and support the clinically extremely vulnerable. It is possible that the dates set out below will be delayed if these conditions are not met. Changes will be announced at least 48 hours before coming into effect.

To aid planning, the Government's current aim is that the second step will be made no earlier than Monday 1 June, subject to these conditions being satisfied. Until that time the restrictions currently in place around the activities below will continue.
(I have listed relevant one)

The Government will work with the devolved administrations to ensure that the changes for step two and beyond are coordinated across the UK. However, there may be circumstances where different measures will be lifted at different times depending on the variance in rate of transmission across the UK.

The current planning assumption for England is that the second step may include as many of the following measures as possible, consistent with the five tests. Organisations should prepare accordingly.

  • Permitting cultural and sporting events to take place behind closed-doors for broadcast, while avoiding the risk of large-scale social contact.

Thanks for proving my point.

I was just going to post this-
From the report - Phase 2 (Earliest June 1st)

Permitting cultural and sporting events to take place behind closed-doors for broadcast, while avoiding the risk of large-scale social contact.

You've done a much better job though.

Why don't they just end the season and have relegation playoffs between Championship winner vs EPL #20, runner up vs #19, champ #3, vs PL# 18?

I'm not at all looking forward to watching Mourinho ball finish out this dead season.

Sounds like it’s going to end up being decided on PPG. The worst outcome for us.

Will be worse for West Ham though. :mourhandlaugh:
