Why does it seem that they hate him already?
A couple of stories in the press about individual players ignoring him (Mickey was one) and the complete lack of any apparent bounce. They don’t appear to be even trying. His moaning about the players fitness for his style of play, etc won’t have helped either.

It’s just a feeling I get from the first two games that his hard man demeanour won’t cut it with this lot. I hope I’m wrong and that they come alive tomorrow, but we’re running out of time if we don’t win this one.

The Micky one was all noise though.

We’ve seen more players say positive things in the media tbh.

The bounces is a problem but underperforming don’t mean they hate him.

He said the fitness was because of the injuries meaning players were overplayed. He didn’t really throw them under the bus for that.

Fair enough, let’s see. I don’t think the softy supply teacher style of Frank appealed to them. They all loved Ange for his stoic style even if they thought the tactics were limited. I think footballers respect strength more than a coach who wants to be their friend

They probably needed a Harry type character to come in and, provide a bit of positivity and laughs to lighten the mood.
I fear you maybe right, players are too far gone to listen to anything it seems.
I can't see us surviving, there doesn't seem a win in us.

Yeah we’ll see. I wouldn’t be surprised if they dislike him though - he doesn’t come across as a likeable guy. I certainly wouldn’t want him as our permanent manager.

Edwards has got them to play without fear.

they have nothing to lose now so its easy to play without pressure.

But I get what you're saying Tudor needs to do the same and get them fired up.

Maybe this lot actually need the pressure?

EL run shows they actually performed when it mattered. Maybe they just don’t give that much of a fuck but when it comes down to the last set of fixtures they will actually grind out results because it personally effects them?

I think the problem we have is the senior players in the squad don’t seem to give a flying f**k and the younger players are looking at leaders for inspiration and getting completely the wrong message.

VDV really didn't look up for the fight at the weekend and it’s difficult to know if Romero would be up for it when he’s suspended.

We need to really dig in to get results and I’m seeing very little of that type of determination from this squad.

I’m very concerned.

Frank is a likeable guy and that didn’t work though did it?

I think there are some senior players that have checked out and are coasting to the end of the season before looking to leave.

I really don’t think anyone would inspire this lot.

We're enough of a laughing stock at the moment without sacking Igor too.

We need a win tomorrow. Everyone knows it. But we cannot sack him if it doesn't happen.

At the very least, I think Igor will hold the players more accountable than any recent manager has. If they're not putting the effort in, I want them called out on it.

For far too long now the players have had too much say in the decision making at our football club. Europa League aside, they do not back up their arrogance.

It needs to stop.

No way should they be coddled. It is part of the reason we're in this mess.

Actually, I'd bring Levy back as the next motivational move.

Tell the players that he'll be doing the negotiations for any player that fancies moving on if we get relegated and isn't going to accept anything below what he thinks is right.

That'll petrify them.

Worrying about 2 days of bad headlines is never a good basis for a decision.

If we play badly against Palace and lose - Tudor must be sacked.

If Tudor is sacked we should make Romero player manager, Porro his assistant and Vicario could be the kit manager.

If Vicario drops the kit bag at least it wont cost us a goal.

Nah not for me.

Who would you replace him with?

Its the players that need to step up now.
Second half vs Villa it looked like they ignored Frank and went for it

If they have to take responsibility and go for it vs Palace then it is what it is, No more hiding behind the coaches. There is no time for learning systems and all that jazz, just find a way to win. Put the big boy pants on and be assertive

We want to see effort.

The majority of this season's bad blood is born from the fans not seeing any desire on the pitch regularly.

If we saw this team bust a gut week in week out and we were still relegation threatened then it wouldn't be half as toxic around the club as it is now.

Just fucking try you fuckers!
