Manager Igor Tudor

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Disagree.

A big personality can absolutely have an affect in the moment regardless of the long term future.

And you're assuming he definitely won't be here. If he does very well he'll be in the conversation.
I'm assuming that seeing as his spurs contract had no mention of a possibility of an extension, at least none acknowledged publicly, then he won't be here, regardless of results. I assume if you want the players to be put on notice then that would be very publicly addressed.

When we make what I consider to be a shite, underwhelming, crass appointment I'll say so from day one. As I did with Frank. And Ange
.....However, I genuinely think that given the circumstances this is a pretty good move.

So you guys should all be confident. Because when John talks, John is invariably proven right

I like this appointment. Plays attacking football, his tactics fit our current roster, has experience picking up teams midway through the season and getting the job done. Surprisingly seems like a well thought out decision. Plus, this most likely means we'll be getting Poch back come Summer?

Teddy is soooo wrong here

We are in trouble because of "PL proven" Frank-so lets stop this nonsense

There are people who say Igor Tudor is not "PL proven"...... also wants Poch as the next manager....forgetting the fact that Poch also got his first gig in PL as a interim manager when Southampton sacked Adkins....

What matters here & now is a manager to come in and get these players play as a team and do the basics right. If thats done, quality will come through.

Big Fucking Igor !! The Tudor !!

Don’t know anything about him, just hope he kicks these useless arrogant fucking players up the arse and can get some kind of tune out of them to keep us up.

Changed my vote upon announcement.

Daoism, accepting the flow.

Igor Tudor... that came out of nowhere. I still remember him from the 1998 Croatia squad. My late grandma was Croatian, and that first time they participated as an independent nation was magical. I have such lovely memories of watching that team with her and other family members, glued to the old TV set and of Croatia going on to achieve what they did. I have no idea what he’s like as a manager, but good luck to him.

Semantics. None of us have a crystal ball.

Let's see how he does.

Nah mate Teddy's spot on. Tudor might have managed Juventus, Lazio and Marseille but that's kindergarten stuff compared to playing Crystal Palace and Burnley.

(I have no real opinion about Tudor by the way, just agreeing with your post)

So, if he actually has some semblance of attack beyond lumping it up to Solanke or Kudus and hope for the best, will be an improvement.

Also noted how little we’ve heard from players about Frank. Compare that to Ange. Think he definitely lost the locker room- and that showed up on the pitch.

Will Igor get their confidence when implementing a front foot style?

9 points in 12 games may be enough. Given a few are against (ugh) relegation rivals, I think we’ll do more than enough.

Why does it feel like everyone overdoes the pile on when it comes to Spurs :D

I used to think that the red shirt plastics made up the majority of Spurs click bait but if you look at the first few pages of this thread it's a conga line of melts getting sand in their fanny over somebody they never knew existed yesterday.

This guy is an interim specialist who doesn't give a shit about ego's and looks like he is about to punch on with the oppo, the ref and his own players. The rest is just noise as nobody knows what is going to happen in spite of people spouting opinions as if they are facts. I hope he smashes up the physio room benches and takes a hammer to the rec room TV.

Both Frank and Ange let refs get away with mugging us off constantly and hopefully that ends now. I mean he looks like a fucking lunatic! Love it.

You'd expect, being in a 2 horse race type of situation for most of his career that he'd have won maybe 3 or 4 trophies, I mean Marsellie pre PSG wonga along with top jobs in Italy, maybe even 2 trophies?

Nope, 1 trophy the croat cup 12 years ago.

PL experience is overrated, not irrelevant, players and coaches. Hope this guy gets some tune out of the players, think he'll probably do enough to get us 4 wins and a few draws

Yeah like i said in the post you quoted i dont really have an opinion on him either way. Just don't buy all the "no prem experience" comments.

Could name plenty of managers who were successful coming from other leagues.
