Manager Igor Tudor

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I'm feeling concerned by what I consider to be the obvious.

He has zero experience of Premier League relegation fights, zero experience of Tottenham, and a worse CV than our past managers.

How hard was it to get De Zerbi?
You had me till De Zerbi, I will never accept a rapist apologist at my club. If the board decided to go down that route then I'm off, 51 yrs old, bought some amount of tat from the club shop, overpaid for tickets/shirts and not grumbled much, accepted some incredibly poor teams in that time, I will not accept that.

What I find strange is with all the experts on here and some haven’t even heard of him but will be quick to write him off.
He’s only managed Juve,Lazio and Marseille. He’s only played more than 50 times for his country and he played in a very good Juventus team and was a hard bastard. No nonsense type.

Apparently he plays attacking 3-4-2-1. Not expecting miracles but next 6 games would like to put the whiff of possible relegation away. Furious with board hiring two shit consecutive permanent managers, not replacing Son and Kane and not getting another striker as Solanke was out for 6 months. Tbh I dont rate solanke anyway.

Do people really think he's been brought in as a Temp? lol

If we stay up he stays.

I think that depends on the results along the way, but if he finishes with a strong record, playing some good football then why not?

He has a small squad to pick from but he's all for the press, playing narrow without the ball and switches play quickly. If he can produce that quickly then what's not to like?

Aha, but on the positive side, he has never lost a game in the Premier League and he also has a proud record of never being relegated to the championship. Simples?

True, but neither have you. I'd prefer you were the manager. I think even the likes of Michael McIntyre or Expressions Oozing have deeper tactical insights than the random non-Spurs foreign managers we bring in — the fans could do a better job.

Ok, well, I'm not aware of the allegations so was going on the basis of can we please fucking hire a proven Premier League manager or somebody that knows the club or somebody with so much success abroad that it cannot fail.

Why?
Is it his superior win rate? no.
His ability to win crap trophies in a small pond? no.
His unparalleled knowledge of Prem league teams and tactics? no.

As far as I can see his one advantage is he doesn't know the oppo, so will try to setup for our strengths rather than their weaknesses.

The problem with that is with our currently available players we don't have any strengths, he's gonna be trying to break quick and put crosses in, I don't think I need to say our wide players are, well, lacking. The midfield can run and tackle, but cant progress the ball. If he even thinks Vic can launch an attack we're 1-0 down already.

These players have been calling the tune and coasting for way too long.

Don't underestimate the affect of some proper authority and presence. I think he brings that.

Possession based and an aggressive press will suit us with the likes of Sarr, Gallagher and Xavi.

Yes the one concern is the lack of PL experience but overall he's a lot of managerial experience at some very big Clubs, handling some big names.

Also played the game at the highest level and was a proper hard bastard.

I think he'll command instant respect from the players.

Personally have a good feeling about him.

Igor...

All that dickhead has to do is to not get us relegated...I've already had the bullshit about his other clubs from people I know read the waffle this that & other tactical theories & what he 'can do, might do, mah mah mah insight' stuff etc etc etc...

I don't give a toss at all - l don't care about his name, who he is or what he's done before how he takes a shit or what he eats for breakfast - 1 aim 1 single aim & that's it...not get relegated...

I ain't gonna pretend to know what's he's done nor do I care if someone does he's got to get results simple these players need to buck up - I know I may sound blunt here but honestly the rest to me is just noise...

I ain't even googled him what's the fukkin point...

I care only about that 1 aim...

Do it or fukk off...do more than that fine...

Mate who gives a fuck, we just new 4 wins to survive man, he'll be gone in 4 months - pointless getting all het up over it.

8 years he played for Juventus.

A massive Club, of course the players will be aware of that and that brings a subconscious respect before he even walks into the room to meet them.

Respect my authority or else, I'm off in 3 months so don't mess me about... yeah has me quaking over here.

Don't get me wrong, the players need to be gone, have got away with it for far too long. A temp manager is never gonna change that.

It could work both ways in that he’s got nothing to lose, so he’s not gonna give a fuck if he upsets a few of the egos and puts a few noses out of joint (potentially literally 😂)!
