Completely agree - this summer is exactly when Levy should have borrowed 200M from Joe to take chances on 7 or 8 players, especially younger kids. Get it right and the increase in value will pay back easily and if that coincides with CL etc for the next few years then it’s a great investment

There has been shockingly little of this from big clubs.

Gil, Pape Sarr, Moriba are all very highly touted and we may get all 3.

That's what I suspect which will be a shame for him.
Apparently the agreement in place with Leipzig is that he doesn't go to them until next year and spends this season (rotting?) in Barca's reserves. That way Leipzig don't have to pay a transfer fee to Barca and can instead pay €15m to his agents.
We have apparently offered the player a better contract and would also pay Barca a fee, but we would pay less to his agents so they're not keen.

I wouldn't lose sleep if he goes to Leipzig or wherever. If Money trumps Football in your mind then this club isn't for you.
 
kid wants 100k a week without being proven and his dad wants 15m...fuck that! would stay well clear, even if he does prove to be a decent player, him and his dad will be a nightmare for whatever club hes at. clearly out to just rinse any mugs they can.
