Dejan is down clutching his shoulder late in the game. Bergvall signalled for the manager to take him off.

He's landed badly on his shoulder a couple of times now the last few games. He probably has at least a muscular issues in it at this point.

He walked off by himself (got subbed off) and looked more mad than anything.

But this is the latest in a series of times that he's gone down clutching his shoulder (Gala, Ipswich, Slovakia and now tonight).

He's probably at best got a bad inflammation in his shoulder joint. Probably some muscular bruising. Which is not nice but he could probably play through it.

Might be possible to play Madison v ManCity, but not sure we can rest him much going forward as with Bentancur's suspension for 7 matches until Christmas (except EL games) we are getting short of players all over the squad with Richarlison and Odobert out injured as well ......

Depends on what the injury is - if its just relatively light (eg significant bruising) if he is rested v ManCity then next game v Roma will be about 9 days after his Sweden game last night, so enough time for bruising to be significantly less painful. A different type injury might well have different timescales.

But also wife gave birth in UK during the game.,,,,, he certainly was pulled off after first 45 mins last week, but we don't know how bad that foot injury was.

Bentancur played 90 mins in Uruguay's 1-1 draw v Brazil overnight.

Academic given his 7 match ban, other than being fit for EL matches, first against Roma next Thursday.

Ireland Under-21s Head Coach Jim Crawford has named a 23-man squad for two international friendlies against Scotland and Hungary.
