Match Ipswich (A) - 22nd February - 3PM KICK OFF, AN ACTUAL 3PM KICK OFF

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Can I ask you about Delap? Because lots of people really admire him...but the more I watch him the less certain I become he is ever going to the top goal scoring Centerforward people think. It's reminiscent of Evan Ferguson who in one moment Shearer claimed was the next Harry Kane.
He’s the real deal. And still very young. Today was a weaker display. He has a physicality that is unmatched. BUT it’s his close control, bursts of speed and his finishing that make me think he can go all the way. Although his finishing was off today.

In the recent Saints home game he went through one on one, had loads of time to think and finished clinically.

He also shows vision in terms of spreading play and short passes.

Weird, so we start to get some guys back, have a little time to rest and suddenly win three in a row. I was told that Ange has no idea what he’s doing and we were completely screwed.

I also enjoyed all the talk earlier today about him starting Johnson and Son. Hard hitting analysis.

Anyway, I was thrilled to get the win. It was a little dicey at the outset and we were far from perfect, but a few players had good outings.

Positivity , where do you get off pulling that shit , pull your head in and find some negativity .

I know exactly what you mean...

He is a big unit, who, when he's scoring, could be compared to Haaland (also a goalscoring BIG UNIT)

But when he's not scoring, that 'big unit' quickly becomes 'big lump' who can look Championship level at best!!

Point is, if he ends up somewhere like Liverpool, Woolwich or Chelsea, he'll be Haaland 2.0...

If he comes to us, he'll become the English Gregorz Rasiak!!!

Just watched the match on replay. Thought we deserved to win but the score line flattered us. The horseshoe passing we did throughout the game was frustrating.

Thought Son was our MOTM although Spence and Danso both did very well. Gray to me looked a bit vulnerable at times and not as good as he has been.

Great win boys!

Referee is so biased in the whole game..

Left stunned when we weren't awarded a penalty when Dara O’Shea bodycheck Danso in the penalty area without making any real attempt to win the ball.

Happy for the win. But we still played Crap. Baring Spence and Bergvall No other players where worth their salt. If we played a better team, we'dve been punished.

It's not Ok celebrating because we beat Ipswich. People been crying and ranting about the Spurs Style. Is this the Spurs style?

Danso, Vicario, Gray played really well i thought especially considering Danso and Gray started on opposite sides to where they usually line up.

Three wins in a row, two against sides that are/were above us in the table and one below.

But hey ho let's just be fucking miserable about the days result.

No. You can go Ape for the players. That is your choice. Don't get pissed off when I still find them crap. I don't do the Flip Flop like most fans. When we win, even if we play Crap, it's all Great. When we loose, we have the worst players. I maintain, win or loose, if a player is Shit, he is Shit. Son is overworked and is Shit. He had moments today but nothing to convince me he has overturned his form. I believe he has been overplayed and can't anymore. The same applies to Kulu. Johnson I believe is Shit period. Im happy with the win but I won't rejoice for mediocre performances. That is why we don't move forward.
Oh I don't get pissed off anything written on a forum mah dude.

Ok but here's two questionsfor you :-

Shorterm - If a player has been in your opinion 'shit' but has 1 good game would you compartmentalise the past poor form & realise that objectively they played well in that game?

Longterm - If a player has had an objectively bad run of games which makes you think they're 'shit' but the player then improves then go on to play objectively better would you be open to changing your mind?

The reason I ask this question is because - it's not about flip flopping, a player can be bad but also have good games therefore both statements can be true & I'm asking these questions to follow your logic here.

But here's a premise would you call these players shit due to your own logic?

Thierry Henry - Terrible start to his signing with Woolwich as he only scored his first PL goal in the 8th game he played - only really got into the swing of it very late in Woolwich's season & has become a legend in the game
Didier Drogba - Again like Henry didn't score much in the first ten games got injured but look what he became

also to quote you "I won't rejoice for mediocre performances. That is why we don't move forward." I agree you're allowed to rejoice how you want on whatver you want but I'm sorry my issue is with that last part.

Explain 'That is why we don't move forward' may I ask you do are honestly saying yours, mine or anyone's opinion about a player affects their performance, player new signings or coaching regime??? if not please elaborate on the WE part & what you define as MOVE FORWARD on this point but if you believe posting on this forum or any other social media platform does then wowsers that's some main character vibes mah dude.

We do not have the lowest wage bill, we have the lowest wage ratio. This is not good, and we do need to increase it. But it's getting overly focused on in the past 6 months because we've made a concerted effort to conduct the squad rebuild that's been needed for years and has resulted in many, many high wage earners being shipped off the wage bill (Kane, Dier, Ndombele, etc.).

This has created a lot of spare room in the wage budget, even if we were to stick to our historical 50-55% of revenue level. This is precisely why you're wrong and we won't lose players like Spence because they're offered larger wages elsewhere.

He sold Kane. Kane who gave an interview during the season wanking off to the prospect of playing with KDB at City. Kane who flew off to Florida during preseason in protest to our refusal to sell him to City as he wanted. We made him play out another season, during which he sulked for months and played like shite, then sold him to a club in Germany we've yet to have to play or compete with in any meaningful way.

Fact - Levy was a Spurs season ticket holder long before he had a professional involvement in football.

Fact - Levy attends more football matches (including away to fucking Tamworth) than any other current, and likely any former, Premier League chairman.

Inference - Levy clearly does care about the football. Whether or not his blundering gets in the way or not it's a ridiculous charge to claim he doesn't care about what happens on the pitch. He's not contractually obligated to sit in a drafty "stand" in January watching us play fucking Tamworth.

Anyway, as always I hate when some of you make factually wrong statements and then my correcting them paints me as some sort of Levy supporter or apologist. I'd help pack up his office if he ever fucked off, just to get him out the door sooner. But some of you post some complete rubbish.

With Kane and N'Dombele gone i think I am correct in saying that we dropped ten million a season off our wage bill?

Obviously we have added but not but not by that much with the kids coming in, and other player sales?
