Our defending still looks absolutely fucking terrible though and our midfield too easy to bypass. He hasn’t sorted either of those out and needs to.

He’s the real deal. And still very young. Today was a weaker display. He has a physicality that is unmatched. BUT it’s his close control, bursts of speed and his finishing that make me think he can go all the way. Although his finishing was off today.

In the recent Saints home game he went through one on one, had loads of time to think and finished clinically.

He also shows vision in terms of spreading play and short passes.

I thought he was excellent first half. Faded second half but I thought that might be because he was doing a lot of pressing and carrying your team. Reminds me a bit of Drogba in that he was a nuisance, big, strong and could dribble.

Quality away day.
Ticked another ground off the list.
Old school ground, main stand looks like the shelf.
Old school floodlights.
Quick in and out.
Chippy outside the ground was top.
Sat next to Djed Spence's mum and sister, they're a right laugh.
And a win to top it off.
 
Missed the game cause of an overseas client having an emergency, so if anyone's got a decent link to the full match replay, that's be grand.

In the meantime I've watched the extended highlights and seems Ipswich coulda been 2 or 3 up after 10 mins...that Delap is a friggin handful. But eff it, Brennan scored against the run play and we didn't look back. Badly needed that big 3 pts. Hope we keep going...but still get rid of that fat waste come May.

Just wanted to say that I thought the referee yesterday was absolutely shit in respect of applying double standards.

It may seem petty to mention it, due to the nature of the final score, but while Ipswich remained in the game the ref was doing his utmost to frustrate Tottenham and assist Ipswich.

Ipswich were allowed to commit fouls routinely; with impunity. When Spurs players protested they were ignored and when Spurs players dished out similar, in frustration, they were punished.

It's every fucking game.

It's fucking cheating.

Spurs have to beat 11 men and the officials every week.

We have been on the end of some dodgy decisions, but why would the officials be ant Tottenham?
