By my calculations the 48 hours in which we were promised a shiny new signing elapse round about KO time this afternoon.

Unlike other naysayers I am confident that at least one oven-ready Player Who Will Make a Difference will be presented to the WHL faithful before the match.

In Levy We Trust and so on and so forth
I fear your trust may be misplaced....

‪Would you take still being at the old WHL if it meant £500m was invested in the squad?‬

In hindsight, given the years of the Wembley experience, lack of investment in squad, the decline and becoming Anchor tenants I would without hesitation be happy to still be in old WHL, all that aside though it’s a new era and little benefit in being overly sentimental, it was not perfect at the old WHL either.

Adama Traore says he doesn't lift weights. What do you suppose is going on there?

Lies?! Otherise no idea, as I've seen the youth pics and he aint a ripped sort naturally.

Though some people are just that way, but to his degree I find hard to believe, maybe he lifts tires and stuff, or body resistance training rather than weights?

Let's be honest the same faces have been pissing and moaning about spending before the stadium build even started.

We were an absolute force at WHL, teams were terrified of coming there. I hope the new stadium gets like that, but we were promised the new stadium meant a new beginning, bigger opportunities and moving to the next step.

It’s early days, but do we all believe this’ll happen?
No I do not believe it.

the “journey” from old WHL to this was filled with error, missteps, potential lies and lack of investment in players. Offset by some incredible games, great results and anticipation.

within a year, the whole thing (for me personally) has gone flat (for me) the performances and results have gone south. The team has been mostly awful, the match day experience peppered with shit like away fans in the “home end” and the ticket prices simply way above the value of the product being delivered.

I am not moaning for influences sake, I don’t much care how others judge the experience. I feel that I can see a club and a fan base that are quite far apart in their views on what success is. I also feel that the value of the current product is unacceptably poor and the levels of actual investment where it matters (players at all levels of the club) is actually now dangerously low.

That’s why I have been to only Olympiacos since the Sheffield United embarrassment. I’d never believe that it could feel so shit after March’s return home and June 1st that I don’t even want to go anymore! Even Wembley was not as bad as it’s been this year.

brave new dawn, for me, it has not been that.

This is a proper indictment. I feel actually let down and the gap between fan base and ownership is toxic it's what kills clubs.

Did not read right and corrected. In March we went home and it was exciting !

Gotcha.

Tbh, the dip in performances has dampened the vibe surrounding the stadium, but many seemed enthused by our signings this summer and I think the price hike stuff is overstated.....

Ticket prices for football aren't subject to whether we win or not. I used to pay £43 + BFeee for the old gaff..... £48 now iirc. Meanwhile, prices for cinema, gigs etc. are all rocketing.

This was Adama Traore at 17.

We’ve been complete shit at basically every level and people are complaining about bringing in a talent like Bruno. He may not play a position of specific need but we need talent. This team is stale and burnt out.
