If man united get Fernandes and koulibaley, they're gonna start to look alot more competitive, annoying fernandes would be the perfect replacement for eriksen, literally CAM - fernandes, a quality CDM, upgraded RB, and a back up striker is all we need to possibly compete for the prem again

Its gonna take us 2 years to get anywhere near where we were.

We just dont buy ready made players. We buy the next gen

Cyprien is an interesting link.

He looked good as a young player emerging in that Lucian Favre, Nice team.

Then a combination of things happened, first he got a horrible (ACL I think) injury. Then Favre went, Nice lost some good players like Ben Arfa, Ballotelli, Seri, Mendy, Plea, Pereira, Saint Maximin, Sneijder, followed by Vieira coming in with a much more pragmatic brand of football, and through this he was gradually playing his way back from a serious injury.

I quite like what I've seen of Cyprien, he has a decent rounded skill set, technically good, good engine, can move with the ball and pass it, but he's not the pure footballing 6 type we are craving, he's more a box to box type who likes to bomb forward, and he's not the most tenaciously rapacious. I think he's actually a better player of his type than Soumare at considerably cheaper.

As a kind of utility (hybrid) midfielder he'd be a big upgrade on Sissoko, but what we need is a new improved Wanyama.

😔😔😔😔😔 at least we still Danny at son. Oi and I hope you witnessed my criticism of the Mangod himself.....sadly it may be time to take a little walk behind the barn..... Sad days mate. On the upside looks like we're trying to sign fucking no - marks that no cunt has ever heard of. Ahhh the symmetry you all mocked my Danny for his goggle quote....now look at ya you bastards. Peace out✌

Yes it is a fact he mocked Ndombele

It is a fact, at least it’s a direct quote from Jose that Ndombele told him that

Yep, I haven’t otherwise

I’ve not once said Jose was right to mock him.
I don’t believe he aggravated his injury based on the fact it’s now reported as a hip injury when earlier it was thigh, hamstring and ankle.
Do you understand that as I’ve written it four times now.

You know Pogbas a massive pussy right?

But does Mourinho mocking someone make it a fact?

I don't know that Pogba is a massive pussy, no.

I will never promote Eriksens involvement and have been calling for him to be dropped two years before it was trendy.

2-1
They didn’t catch up.
We are shit because we have players here that shouldn’t be here, an unbalanced squad that the last manager assembled, and injuries and players lacking match fitness and two of the new signings not settling in very well

So you don't have the slightest concern about Mourinho's selections? Clearly he didn't know anything about our team, if it's been obvious with Eriksen for years. Also he kept praising the squad when he was assigned. Now we need new players in every position.

Our front three were pressing for 45 minutes, watch the game again and it's noticeable how that energy level just drops off from the start of the second half ...

I'm sure Mourinho covered it somewhere in his presser ... or maybe it was a commentator ... but it's very easy to spot.

I'll just focus on the first 45 mins then. When we are working hard in the front line, I'd like for our defenders to push higher so our midfielders needs to run less to be involved. It was also what I meant from the beggining. We don't need a high defensive line if we are gonna play counter attacks, like we did in the second half.

I’ll have a concern if he spends 450M and is still playing Eriksen and Dele

As of this moment I’m calm due to our situation which I mention in that post and the fact he’s been here about 12 weeks

We need 2 or 3 players and in my opinion in the midfield and attack right now.

Thst is if we are to sustain or try to achieve anything of note this season. It's likely a tall order regardless but very obvious that we need reinforcements.

If all can play and be registered in the CL all the better and I suspect Kane and Sissoko may not make the CL squad upon its return.

Loan deals make even more sense although you have to wonder what it says about the player being loaned.

Unless Mourinho is a car crash in which case his time at the top is over we have to wait until the summer and you beyond before he gets properly judged because only at that point will we see his players on the pitch.

For now it's a temporary plaster.

The Ndombele-Mourinho shit in this thread is amusing for two reasons:

1) Ndombele is injured, but when he's been on the pitch he's been good. It's like the same shit that was floating around Lo Celso. When he was injured he was shit, now he's playing and shocker, he's good. Ndombele is good. Let's just hope his injury isn't a misdiagnosed sports hernia that needs surgery. Regardless, players take time to acclimate to the league and get up fitness levels.

2) Mourinho's comments about Ndombele have been taken WILDLY out of context multiple times. I would encourage everyone to read the Ali Gold transcripts of the questions and FULL answers. Mourinho is frustrated that Ndombele is injured but the implication is that (maybe) Poch overworked him prior to his arrival and broke his hip and groin.

So until Ndombele is fully fit and still not starting for some reason, let's just chill a bit on this.

Ah I see where you're going ... not sure Jose will play a high defensive line with Gazza in goal, he's not a sweeper keeper ... with Hugo back maybe they will push up a few yards ...

We've got a bad habit of allowing aimless flick-ons to turn into defence splitting passes when our back line pushed up and couldn't recover ... having a bit more pace at the back might give us more confidence in a higher line. Jose has played with a high line before so anything is possible.
