I would be concerned about his height. If he was to partner Japhet in the central defence, we might be a little short in terms of height. I did like Canavarro and Ayala, but they never played in the Premier League.

I am not a part of any 'levy out brigade' but I am critical of bad moves. I would not have shed a tear if we got 80M for CE last summer and reinvested it in a more balanced squad. I wouldn't give a shit if we sold Harry Kane tomorrow if it meant a better, balanced squad and incremental success on what we had done the past 5 years. See, beat you to the punch. No second guessing here. In fact I wanted him gone as I hate #10s and any other player that doesn't bring it in all aspects of the game. And I really appreciated CE but was tired of our penny-pinching over-reliance on 1 creative player. Getting rid of him would have forced our hand to evolve.
