I think we'll end up with a DM. Soumare from Lille or something.

Team looking like

[FORMATION=4321,Lloris,Aurier,Alderweireld,Sanchez,Davies,Lo Celso,Soumare,Ndombele,Bergwijn,Son,Kane][/FORMATION]

Gazzaniga, Aarons, Vertonghen/ Foyth, Sessegnon, Winks, Gedson, Dele, Lucas, Piatek making up the rest of the squad. Looks delicious!
Why are people doing this it TANGANGA then ten random others!

because the truth matters. levy and THFC ruined the madrid transfer with their absurd financial demands - this is probably the straw that broke the camels back for CE and the reason why he wanted to leave this winter instead of waiting - i am certain you will never hear it from CE - but he feels that the conduct of Levy and THFC was disrespectfull and unfair given all he had done for the club. Getting stick on social media and boohs from THFC supporters probably just confirmed him in his decision to leave THFC af fast as possible.
At the time imagine what price we would rate him at & then what levy would have :adewtf:

Why does this continually get used as a stick to beat him with, when no such thing was true, this is how he responded to being asked about Real Madrid in that now infamous interview:

“I feel that I am at a stage of my career where I would like to try something new,” Eriksen told the Danish newspaper Ekstra Bladet. “I have the deepest respect for everything that is happening at Tottenham and it would not be something negative to stay. But I have also said that I would like to try something new.

“I hope that something will be decided this summer. That is the plan. In football you never know when there could be a decision like that. It could be at any point. The best thing is always for it to happen quickly but in football things take time.”

Eriksen has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid, who are looking to add marquee signings this summer for Zinedine Zidane after a desperately disappointing season.

Real Madrid is a step up but then it would take Real Madrid picking up the phone and making contact with Tottenham and say that they want Christian,” Eriksen said. “And that they haven’t done as far as I know.

He was happy to move last summer, not run his contract down. And was under no illusions that he was sure to end up at somewhere like Real Madrid. He just said last summer that he still loves it at Spurs, we tick all the boxes so it would have to be a step up.

Maybe some aren't seeing Inter as the step up they perceived he meant, but a lot has changed in the last 6 moths. Inter are challenging for a title, are spending money, will almost certainly be CL for the ext few years. We have gone in the opposite direction and look fucking miles from CL let alone a title.
Nah mate, even though Eriksen didn't say he expects to go to Madrid, my gut is telling me what he himself is thinking. & he was thinking where in Madrid shall I move to.
& those are all the facts I need.
Seriously though. Good post & I totally agree. Some are trying to paint him as a Ronaldo big ego type character when he seems nothing of the sort in my opinion.

There is a famous quote from Andres Möller: "Mailand oder Madrid, Hauptsache Italien!" translated "Milan or Madrid, the main thing is its Italy!". Fits like a glove.
