All four would do me, probably start Cancelo and have Semedo as back up. Wonder if Aurier is any good at scouting?Neves, Semedo, Dias and Cancelo is about the only decent options.
You'll have to forgive me here as I won't be at my best as I'm a little under the weather.Sissok and Kane get injured = loan for a CM & a striker?
That's not logical to you?
Now stop playing football manager and come back to real life. All four would do me, probably start Cancelo and have Semedo as back up. Wonder if Aurier is any good at scouting?
I’ve been mulling this over.
It certainly does seem to make sense although that’s not necessarily indicative.
Levy has always disliked loans so this new direction is unusual. And presumably Joe Lewis needs to cash in at some point.
You'll have to forgive me here as I won't be at my best as I'm a little under the weather.
But logic has nothing to do with it and wasn't the issue I was addressing. Hugo goes down and we call back Vorm for the emergency short term. Made sense then, makes sense now.
The GK issue somewhat illustrates my point in that it wasn't a position of particular weakness. Some may have had quibbles but I don't believe anyone would have suggested it was the position that was holding us back or the first position needing to be addressed. When the stop-gap is no longer needed we will return to at least parity with the average of the comparable teams ie stop-gap makes sense.
On the other hand if you take our MF and forward line they were positions for improvement either through quality or numbers. And these issues, along with the FBs, predated any injuries. What we've done is at best retain our previous level...which was shit.
On the other hand, Liverpool, the best team in the world (literally), have just added a transfer from a position of strength. He is a promising forward, picked up permanently, and on the cheap. He was identified and the matter was handled expeditiously. I will let you guess which day his transfer was confirmed.
I think options to buy are becoming increasingly more common. It makes sense to take advantage of them as they completely change the complexion of a loan deal.... No longer are you risking merely developing a player for the owner.
Note: Ceballos.... We didn't bother with him in the summer because RM wouldnt give us an option so I don't think the club have had a change of 'heart'.
Reports say he’s been told he can leave due to lack of playing time. I agree he’s not the best defensively, but very good getting forward.
Obviously was a joke
sound like exactly someone you'd advocate for signing, an ex-scum gooner and scum chelsea twatOlivier Giroud a possibility? Just mentioned on Sky, no substance just that it could work for both player and club(s).
Try before you buy sells it short, try before you completely ha,met your finances is more like it and I'm all for us takin the next steps without being reckless. I don't prefer someone like Zakaria but for £3.5m can anyone really have issues with this signing seriously?
Is that a question or a statement?sound like exactly someone you'd advocate for signing, an ex-scum gooner and scum chelsea twat
Settle down, Sammy. That post was addressed to me. Don't attempt to bunch me with everyone else. I'm not involved...unless you want some. With first options to buy too.....
These people really a bunch ain’t they.
Sign no one cry, sign someone cry.

Some danish ITK here, apparently Eriksen is still open to extending with us provided a satisfying contract is offered to him. The club has supposedly "withdrawn" the last contract offer made to him, so he is examining his options
