I have it on good authority that as long as we do the business in January (and I am more recently told that loan moves for heretofore unremarkable players would suffice) then summer transfer windows don't really matter. Summer TWs are for noobs whereas the real hipcats of us are shifting our focus to January where the real smart business happens.

Maybe he just didn't perform as well in training as he did last year. Bielsa is known for demanding a lot from his players tactically as well.

It is hard to keep up with what is the best way. Sometimes summer best but January is a waste of time. Than it gets swapped around. Spending big is bad but then it's really good & you can't compete with big spending clubs. Loans are crap stop gaps but then they are the way forward. Lesser known players are pointless but then they are smart buisness. Domestic trophies mean nothing but your manager is a loser & should be sacked if he doesn't win any. No wonder we haven't got a proper identity or we so bit it's one that doesn't know if its coming or going.
Being reported from Inter pages that the offer at the moment is 15M Euros + 3M in bonuses. That should be around £15M. Better than nothing I suppose...
