Summer 2019

No depth added up front. No depth added at Right back. Wasters like Rose retained. Eriksen’s contract mess not addressed. Dybala fiasco. Lo Celso on loan last minute. Wiping out pre season bedding in. Jack Clarke (lol) Sessengon being signed while injured.

Yeah your right, nothing to criticise in that window at all.

Don’t accuse people of “bullshit”, it’s self righteous. And if you think we “fucked up 2-3 windows, good luck to you. Because that’s a lie
Well said - not to mention the previous 2 window which were criminally
mismanaged

Rate Lamela’s career out of 10 - let’s hear it

15/10.

I thought he wasn’t so keen because he’s worried about getting game time there with their current front three all fixtures. Pretty sure that’s what Honegstein said?
'Twas said on either The Totally Football Show or one of The Guardian's pods that he fancies Liverpool. If you really want me to find out who said it, I can do that for you.

Are you actually going to sit there and try and compare our negotiation tactics to Liverpool or Manchester City’s? Come back to me when you find an article showing Liverpool or Cuty bidding 3 million plus an academy player for Jack Grealish? Or offering an ‘insluting’ amount for a mid table la liga striker that’s never scored more than 15 goals a season.
Jack could have been bought the summer before but Poch wasn't convinced. The ownership change scuppered that deal not any Levy bid.

If this striker is in such demand why aren't United going after him? One paper report with the word insulted and suddenly its a thing. Sure I cherry picked media reports but apparently that's conclusive proof now.

Pre-season games looked good (Audi Cup!), I was really convinced that bedding in Lo Celso and NDombele in midfield is exactly what we need. Transfers aren't just about sending e-mail, shoving money into face and grabbing player locked in cage in plane to London. 90% people here wanted Tripps gone, Poch had an idea about playing Foyth there, there was Aurier as well, okay, maybe these aren't the best possible options, but are options at least. You can't change 1/2 of first 11 in one TW, it's a process which we fucked up, and now we have to deal with it. We don't know how much of this is caused by Poch's love to his players and how much by Levy.
Most of our issues are caused by injuries, we should be ready for that but we aren't, and that's the only problem I have with our management. Saying that xxx (Rose, Eriksen, Winks, whoever) is shit and fuck him isn't proper way of supporting your club, is it?

In what way do I have no desire and when have I said we don’t need to spend money?

I think we need at least one RB, a LB, a DM and a CF. Even after that I believe we can hugely improve on what’s then left, like Moura and our central defence.

And I’d love it if we bought top quality for each position, but also understand we aren’t financially capable of doing that yet.

I also believe that buying a player isn’t as easy as nipping down the corner shop for a pack of smokes (tired cliche I know).

Finally, just because someone posts a tweet on here saying we only bid £3m plus Onomah for Grealish, doesn’t mean im going to take that as gospel.

But all that being said, we do need to strengthen and I’ll be delighted when we add to the five players we have bought in the last six months.
You say financially we can't do it yet but did you not here levy recently because he stated that nothing will change regarding policy, so in essence you are waiting for another twenty years of the same but your paying more for it. :levylol: :levylol:

I was told he scores one in two for one of Spain’s top six sides. Not sure thats shit.
Take it literally all you'd like but i was just turning your phrase to make it clear about the reasoning, players cost what they cost because the market places value on level of established performance and potential for continued or improved performance.

And if he does that for them, he’d get better returns playing with better players, no?
that's the conventional wisdom but I don't go for it. It depends on how he gets his goals and if that would be amplified in another setup. And the assumption that our players are better than RS is a big one. I'm will to bet that there are not better technical players in our squad than at RS.
