I would think Foyth or Lamelas time would be up. Vertonghen may not survive the summer.

Foyth this season is counted as an u21 as he's been at the club for 2 years - will be overseas trained player next season. So loaning him might be a decent idea now by itself but doesn't help free up any overseas trained places now.

Lamela might be moved on in the summer due to injuries but right now we are short at AM once Eriksen goes, so doubt we want to lose him now unless we can sign 2 AM's (one to replace Lamela, one to replace Eriksen) so again number of overseas trained places comes up.

Vertonghen going might be a solution, but that relies upon Tanganga becoming 3rd CB (after Alderweireld and Sanchez) and we would be short of left sided defenders especially if Rose is off, so again we might well need to replace him with an overseas trained player so not freeing up an overse trained player place.

No easy solutions other than Wanyama leaving ?

I seem to be far more calm than most about our business.

I'd rather not maor panic buys and get the right people in. We have so much trouble shifting dead wood so last thing we should be doing is buying more.

We need a rebuild that's clear but of rather not rebuild with any old dm or striker. If we have to wait until the summer then so be it.

If piatek who I've never seen play is our first choice then great let's get it done. But if his a reaction to kane getting injured I'd far prefer to wait and see .

I think youre being a bit harsh on Can.

He's a good player.

And he's definitely better than Dier, who'd he'd be competing with (not Winks)

He was a weak link at Liverpool.... Doesn't sound like he's improved since.

We'd be buying a player that we'd almost immediately be looking to improve upon.

We can and should be capable of signing better.
