Transfers January 2022 - Transfer Window

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Really need to get a RWB in at least but seem we have replaced GLC with Kulu and Bentacour for Ndombele

So that's two useless players out the squad and hopefully 2 decent additions in. So we will have improved the side but we just need to focus on getting CL now.

If we get it Summer window will be huge and Levy will have to back Conte a good ST and some more depth to replace shit like Ali and a couple others who Conte doesn't rate and we can push for some trophies with Conte in charge

Happy Bergwijn seems to be staying... think he's done enough in games vs Leicester, West Ham, even Chelsea to show he's more use to us going forward than Gio and Dele.

I'd hope either could play there to be honest, personally think Bergwijn would manage it better. Lucas playing 20 mins at LWB is the closest we've come to it, maybe now with Son back and Kulusevski in the picture he'll have more room for maneuver.

I do think maybe he expected Emerson to have more about him going forward, he's a good athlete to cover the flank and mostly good defensively, but we can't persevere with a system that requires so much on wing backs for chance creation when his and Doherty's delivery is so poor.

I remember a match under Jose where Lucas played on the right of midfield but did a really good job, think he ended up with 10 tackles or something, obvioulsy right mid is different from playing as a RWB but I've always pondered it, he has the pace and his end product is far better than Emerson and Doherty.

Play at Ibrox for one of the biggest clubs in the UK and probably win the league, or get relegated with Burnley…
Yeah, that's a valid point.

But then on the flip side, you have playing in the Prem and against the likes of Man U, Liverpool, Spurs...big teams, world class players, big stadiums. I'd rather that than playing vs Livingston, Motherwell, St Johnstone...

And I still trust Dyche to keep Burnley up, with or without Ramsey

If the two Juve lads are our only incoming, and we shift dead wood, that’s a good window. January is a hard time to buy, but could be seen as a good time to sell. Meaning we have space in our squad for the summer. Honestly, what’s the point in keeping players who aren’t performing, even if that means a slightly thinner squad. Short term pain for long term gain.

Problem is that deadwood is back in summer as they are loans

Looks like Woolwich aren't getting the striker they need and they're letting Aubamayeng leave, their fans are having a meltdown over it.

West Ham don't look like getting a striker to help Antonio out, they're gonna have to rely on him and they've got EL to contend with.

Utd haven't replaced Greenwood or got a midfielder in.

Despite not getting a RWB and backup strikerm signing a midfielder and a forward I think we've come out of this very well compared to our rivals.
