Tottenham offered Norwegian wonderkid

Tottenham have wrapped-up an impressive summer transfer window, but just because the window is shut, it does not mean that the club are not exploring potential future targets.

One such player could be Genk midfielder, Kristian Thorstvedt, who is being offered to Tottenham by his agent as per Sport Witness.

The 22-year-old Norwegian midfielder stands 6ft 2ins and is a physically commanding box-to-box type player.

Kristian Thorstvedt netted nine goals in the Belgian top flight last season and also registered three assists. He has one goal and one assist in four games so far this season.

Eric's son. Sign him.up.

People who are advocating the signing of Traore, I’d personally prefer Zaha assuming they command a similar fee. I know he’s injured quite a bit but when fit…

And Zaha contract finishes in 18 months.

"Need more goal-scorers" = "Buy Traore" is certainly a strange concept.
But whats more goal scorers going to do in this team? We rarely work the ball into the final third let alone create chances, maybe Traore can help getting the team up 20-30 yards. Yes he would frustrate on occasions but at least he can take players out of the game and create overloads and numerical advantages. Apart from Ndombele/Locelso/Son everyone else passes backwards under any kind of duress. Another midfielder that can play on the half turn wouldn’t go amiss either

Need another goalscorer.... Never easy in January..... Shoulda got that job done in the summer.

Any other tweaks; far more doable.

I really object to a 22yr old being described as a wonderkid.

Well the equivalent of Son to play on the right would be good.... So yeh kind what Sonny does.

You forgot Kane (and Lucas*). As long as H has players running beyond him that seems to work quite well if last season is anything to go by.

(*Dele isn't exactly a pass-backwards merchant either, but I understand he may not be in everyone's favoured XI.)

Not a great or bad source so :gallashmm:

"Tottenham acquire personal terms agreement with Milan’s Kessie

Tottenham have agreed personal terms with Milan midfielder Franck Kessie, with Paris Saint-Germain also in the running to sign the player.

Daniele Longo has reported for Calciomercato that Kessie wants a guaranteed wage of €7 million in his new contract but Milan are struggling to meet that demand. The Rossoneri have offered around €5.5 million plus bonuses and have not come close to the valuation.

There is now a chance that the midfielder could even depart in January, allowing Milan to get some funds. PSG have made contact with the entourage of the player and have expressed their interest. Spurs meanwhile, have offered 8 million per season and have agreed personal terms too."

Paratici had somewhat of a reputation for hoarding midfielders at Juve. I hope he starts doing that with us. Bring in Kessie, Gravenberch, and Sarr next summer and only sell Winks, see what sticks.

I approve buying good players.
