Bergwijn came through Ajax youth system, had a disagreement so walked out (Before he got a contract) whilst still being rated as a top prospect in Netherlands to join PSV.

But that was years ago now - and Ajax management clearly rate him

I was on SC for about 9 years, I know how things work over there, they do have a couple of people who get bits of info and post them up, a couple of them are close to agents and insiders in the club and have the track record to prove it, some of their info is extremely detailed and to the point where it it's highly unlikely to be made up. Some of the info is agenda driven but you can generally read between the lines - I guess it depends on the way you want to read it.

The insiders themselves are treated like God's over there by admins because they drive revenue to the site, they constantly ask for donations to keep the costs of the sites running or some bullshit (honestly how much does it cost to pay for web hosting year and year out) and the donations that they get are generally very big - don't think for a minute it's paying for hosting and maintenance.

The problem with SC is that they are so wrapped up in ITK, now it's got to the point that it's just another form of clever clickbait, reel people in by posting some insider info - play with people's emotions by posting some ITK info that's exciting, get their hopes up to the point where they pay money, rinse repeat, it's basically a scam ran by the admins, a way to get get money off people albeit hiding behind the ITK mantra - basically it's the modern day clubcall on Teletext.

Also there's a user on there called 'the Goat' and he's meant to be an account where the ITK's post anonymously because they don't want it traced back to the original source where it came from, as if that makes any sense lol - why would you put it on a public domain in the first place if you don't want anything coming back to you?...Anyway this is A&C's burna account where he posts drivel that he blatantly makes up from time to time just to drive revenue up.

Gotta make money I guess. The closest thing we have to AFTV, the Spursy version which is all about transfers which don’t happen just as AFTV is all about titles which never turn up followed by a meltdown.

A couple of them are okay. Trix does a decent job, he seems to get information from a few spots and is smart enough to be able to separate truth from agenda. They’re all just so thin skinned and completely unwilling to acknowledge any time they get it wrong.

They don’t help themselves putting Hercules on a pedestal, his track record is abysmal and even if he did have information he’s functionally illiterate and can’t communicate it properly. Devalues everyone else over there.

ITK in general has dropped off so substantially in quality all across the Spurs internet. 10-12 years ago there were a fair few that actually seemed to have real connections and a bit of a clue. I think it got a little too mainstream, instead of posters on smaller message boards passing along stuff in good faith and has attracted a lot of folks who are desperate for attention. Like you said with SC, they also have a profit incentive.
