Transfers January 2022 - Transfer Window

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

as i say we could be millionaires predicting what our club does
1. Get a syndicate together of 100 Spurs fans who all agree to remortgage their houses.
2. Bet the combined pot on predictions of what our club will do in transfer windows.
3. Once enough windows have passed for the pot to have grown sufficiently, buy the club. (With a starting of pot of say £10m, if you can predict very accurately what we will do, you should be able to increase that very significantly very quickly).
4. Spend, spend, spend.

;)

No matter what anyone thinks, we defo need to shift players…

We just cant keep collecting them otherwise our next documentary will be on CH4’s Britains Biggest Hoarders where the team visit the Levy’s in Tottenham but cant get in due to piled high ageing footballers blocking the access….

The first step a hoarder has to overcome, is admitting their shit is worthless and taking it to the tip.
Not putting it on eBay with a BIN price of £50m

elite manger comes once in a blue moon

decides not to back him

its like buying a ferrari without the keys

It's like buying a Ferrari and putting diesel in it to get better MPG.

How come we've spent over double what Chelsea spent in that time period but we're shitter than they are?

Because they pay better salaries. It's why for £30m they got Kante, one of the best midfielders in the world, and for £30m, we got Sissoko, who wasn't even the best midfielder when he was self isolating.

‘’Who: The Goat
When: 13/01/22
Where: SC

We've heard this from a few people now so thought it was worth posting.

Paratici (and subsequently Conte) were promised we'd have money to spend on new players and that was part of what convinced them to join.

These finances were meant to be from a deal that we'd hoped to have wrapped up by now. We don't know if it was the stadium rights or someone buying equity but Levy thought it'd be done already. Conte "understands" the situation but if things get worse then that can obviously change’’

It’s all that ITK so as much chance as being wrong as right but logically this would make sense as to why Conte joined and why we ain’t spending. Looks like we fucked the deal for money up from the sounds of this.
So strange , because Mr Bryte was such a successful company .

Sounds plausible and explains the preference for the loan then purchase deals.

I'm no transfer/financial guru, but I reckon for a £40m outlay Spurs could bring in Lingard, Arthur Melo (loan) and De Vrij this window. All improve our squad drastically and can come straight in. 2 at the end of their contracts, and one on loan with a view to buy.

Then the focus has to move to a rwb and a striker. Lamptey and Vhalovic are the dream and both are achievable.
