I don't see where shipping Ndombele out at this point makes sense. He cost too much to recoup, I think we've all seen that he has the talent, and I think Conte can get him playing his best. PEH should be staying too, even if just used in a rotation. I agree on the rest, though. I actually wouldn't mind seeing Skipp go out on loan to another Prem or upper-level Championship side for a season or two, while we get in someone who can really boss it for us in the meantime. I think Skipp could have a long, successful career with us, but he's not quite there yet.
The longer we hold him the less we can recoup. Might as well get rid of now if he's not in the plan.

Sending Skipp to the champo would be utterly pointless... He's already bossed it at the age of 20.

Sending him anywhere for that matter is a terrible idea....

- Done a good job so far this season.
- Even if he doesn't make your preferred XIs; we need depth.
- We need HG

What????

Skipp has shown he is able to play at the PL level why would we send him to the Championship? That would be a massive step down for him and set back his development.

I don't mind the idea of bringing in a guy like Brozovic and having Skipp play behind him and learn if we are moving him to that deep lying role. Then he can overtake Brozovic when he is ready.

That makes so much more sense than sending him away. Why would we move one of our better players when we need more good players not less?

We could convince some one to pay a decent wedge for Ndombele.
Maybe not the full amount but 25-30m shouldn't be sniffed at.

Sorry, but Skipp has done little more than work hard. We need some one to pull strings in midfield and to that, you need to have experience and nous. He may get there but I don't think he's close yet.

We need a creative midfielder. If we get rid of Ndombele, who replaces him?
This should deal with it.

He has done a hell of a lot more than work hard.

I agree we need someone to pull the strings which is why I suggest we get a player like Brozovic to play ahead of him so that Skipp can continue to develop. He certainly is close.

Either way sending him to the Championship makes zero sense.

If we move on Skipp there is zero chance that we will have multiple MFers better than him, so we are making the team worse with a move like that.

I'd rather he got premier league experience and not relegation fight experience.
Then again, is it not better for him to be at the top of the championship than the bottom of the premier league? The football would be better for him in a wining side rather than back to the wall.

What's your worry with Ndombele apart from his fitness? He's far more talented than any other midfielder we have. Can't even think of one in the market to replace him.

My concern is that he doesn't want to be here and therefore his head isn't into it.

There are plenty of players that could replace him especially if Levy is actually willing to spend money.

No I don't think it would be better for him to be in the Championship because it wouldn't challenge him. He has shown that he is above that level. The speed of the game isn't enough to put him under pressure and develop the quick decision making we need from him.

Plus, if we are wanting him to develop certain skills there is zero ability for us to control that if he is with another team.

There is zero reason to send him out on loan both for his development and for our team needs. We are worse without him and he gets less development elsewhere.

There's 1 reason to loan him out. If we believe he has what it takes to be a regular for us, but decide he isn't there yet, he'll need game time.
