We were totally mad not to try and keep Bale around.
He can do exactly what Ronaldo is doing. Imagine him instead of Moura and the chances he'd get and make.

I'd be happy to see him return again, but I don't have much faith in this report, and I absolutely cannot see him fitting into our side under Conte based on almost everything that's been reported about Conte since the beginning of last week.

That said, he did make use of a fat Alexis Sanchez after his spell at United, so maybe...

So you're saying that Bale loves his brown sauce too much?

Awesome idea to bring back 32yo Gareth Bale who's missed the last 12 games (and likely the next month plus) with a hamstring rupture.

(It would be fun, and it was fun when he played last season - but I'd rather see us use Conte's clout to bring in top young attacking players, Vlahovic, Gouiri, Alvarez, Raphina)

It does not add up.

On the one hand Conte believes some of the players are overweight and bans ketchup and mayonnaise. The key is fitness.

On the other hand he wants to resign Bale.

I think Bale is a great player. Fitness?

Most likely quality. He is a different level technically, someone who can be thrown in with 30 mins to go and bury a chance or two.

He obviously has injury problems, but I don't think his training is questioned much by anyone, he has always kept himself in fantastic shape. Injuries have come with him getting older, but I don't think he has ever been an Ndombele type of trainer. If Conte wanted him and Bale wanted to come, I don't think there are any problems with his attitude to training.
