The last match, thought Johnson was very good, first 30minutes in particular, but because he gasses for periods most fans were back on the boys back.

Love seeing these type of metrics laid out, as MOTM highlights skew the perception of most. Doku would probably be way out ahead of he’d stayed fit, but shows otherwise there aren’t too many showing Brennan up.

Is it those two players in particular that make you feel like that or should the target be more than two signings this winter?
I don't want Werner but it is what is. The squad is not good enough, yes I know we've done well to be where we are. We need two CBs and anyone else like vermaelen, Cirkin we can get in means less to do during the summer.

Dragusin is becoming a bit of a saga and one I wouldn't be that surprised to see go pear-shaped at this stage. Obviously none of us are privy to the negotiations, so we don't know what's happening...and the Italian sports media, bar the famous pink sheet, are quite unreliable.

Are Genoa being overly difficult, moving the goalposts, playing us against Napoli & co? Is the player's rep messing about? Does the player really wanna leave ahead of the Euros? Or is that us being too tight, trying to renegotiate...the so-called 'usual Spurs tactics' as POK referred to the other day?

None of us fucking knows zilch, but whatever is happening, it's a (slight) worry that it's now Jan 7th and we still haven't brought in a new CB, considering how massive a need it is, even more so now that Big Ben's out (yes, I know Micky is on his way back but).

I'd really love to know:

A. When the Dragu convo started
B. If he even is Ange's first choice
C. Who is the plan B if/when the Radu deal goes to shit...and how quickly can we turn that backup round

Forget about Werner, a new CM, Dier & other deadwood leaving/not...this window was all about a new CB.

Let's stay positive and hope we do bring in the Romanian Hulk or another one of big Ange's wishes ahead of Utd, yet if we were to end the month without a new CB, surely the club owes us fans a proper no-bs explanation. Don't even wanna imagine the uproar on here...can already hear Tottenham Massive Tottenham Massive & Richard Arlison Richard Arlison sharpening their daggers.

If we manage to get Dragusin over the line next week we could be lining up with the following at Man Utd:

Vicario
Porro Dragusin VdV Udogie
Bentancur
Kulu Lo Celso
Johnson Richie Werner
Considering everyone we have missing that's an outstanding first XI.
Don't see the Dragon being in in time to train for Manure. He surely can't play with 2 days of training can he?

Wasn’t Todibo plan A?

We quickly moved onto plan B. The most reliable sources are still very positive. It will probably happen.

If not, I’m sure there’s a plan C.
