Sess always looked terrified to make a mistake under Jose and Conte. Timid and ball-broken.

If Ange likes what he does in training as LB, I could see him giving him freedom to make a mistake and gaining some confidence back.

problem will be that fans aren't going to trust him easily. It will take a while and you wonder if he likely to get enough minutes to do that. Could be like Reggie where it re-invigorates his mindset but he needs to show it somewhere else.

Perhaps Sess's biggest problem to overcome is that he has 2 big problems to overcome, there is the performance side of things, can he come out of his shell and show more on the pitch than he has managed so far, and then even if he can do that, can he then maintain it without succumbing to another lengthy spell on the sidelines?

Even if he broke out of his shell and looked like the second coming of Rob Carlos, would anyone really believe it would be more than 4 games before he popped his hammy again?
