Transfers January Transfer Thread 24/25

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Hopefully Bergvall can get a Champo loan in Jan. Glimpses of talent there but he looks a bit lightweight and needs regular playing time to get up to speed in England.

If Grealish in January is true I am not mad at it, even if it doesn't seem to be addressing the main priority. He is not exactly a flying winger, but if we are still in all competitions and there are questions about both Richi and Odobert then we would be short up front.

We have so much scope to add to our EPL squad in January it is unbelievable.
Squad total is currently 23 including Reg, Robson, Austin and Whiteman.
We could sign up to 5 new players over 21 and unlimited yoots.

home grown too.

now he's on 300K p/w and he's 29 so you'd wonder how much of a go-er this one is.

The only chance in hell it happens is if City feel we are no threat to them this season (for instance not yapping at their heels in the top 4)....... Only then could I see them let him go IF they had another target lined up.

I also think people would get tired very quickly of his lack of goals.... And wonder how happy people would be to see yet a-n-o-t-h-e-r LW-er brough in without seeing another RW-er arrive first.

But yeh; I also think his age and wage would conspire to make it another costly deal we'd regret... I wonder how much of their 100m they'd want to recoup too.

If he were a bit younger, Grealish might not be a bad option. We can do better, and as we have limited resources to burn, can spend money far better than 29year old Grealish.
Grealish is not moving the needle much for me, personally. Especially not at this point.

That being said I think we need some reinforcements in the final third going into January. But I wouldn’t blow our load on Jack Grealish. Left sided defender and striker/winger should be the priority IMO.
