That's a pretty interesting stat, obviously they'll just post certain players but would like to see what that looks like for somebody like Ash Phillips. Felt like last season he was a bit underwhelming in the air given his size.
I’d sell Romero to RM and buy Tapsoba, he’s both quick and great on the ball - and let’s be honest, he couldn’t be much worse than Romero at box defending. And we’d still have change left over.
I doubt Spurs will get €95m++ for Romero...

I like the kid, good little player...and I've seen him live a few times. But he flopped bad at Ajax and though it's early days in his OL career, he's really struggling.
No way he'd start over Solanke or Sonny here, and I don't think he's that much of an upgrade on Brennan. That Lankshear kid probably has a higher ceiling.
He was very good at Metz however. But it could be that he needs to be at a club where he can be the clear focal point in attack.
And that's fair. Some players are just better suited for that role.
I'd rather go looking at Ajax if they really need to sell a lot in January as the rumours are saying.

There’s no way anyone’s paying that
80m quid or so isn't an extortionate amount for a genuine top CB these days.
How many CB's have gone for 80m?
Gvardiol, Maguire, De Ligt, VVD, Hernandez are all in that general area.
Not saying its common, but he's probably one of the best defenders outside of the top clubs. So I don't think its beyond reason that a team would pay it if they really wanted a defender - Chelsea, for instance.
Don’t think he’s all that either. He kills a lot of momentum in build up play. Plays the way he’s facing type of player, at least for England anyway.
Typical us though, because it’s seen as value we’d do it even if the quality isn’t right.

21 years old and loaned out to L1 Stockport where he's doing well.
Barry's more of a player to develop for another year before he'll make much impression at Spurs - has been loaned out to Stockport Salford and Swindon for about 3 seasons so far. Assuming Odobert recovers, Odobert has a season of PL under his belt so more likely to make an impression this year and next year.
Now aged 21 and contract expires in June 2025, if he joined us I could see him being loaned out to Westerlo to get higher level experience next season as he'd need to take a squad place ?
