Wouldn't say no at all but this smells like Juve drumming up a market.

Same as the Rashford links is just UTD trying to hype up a market for a player on very high wages and very sheepish interest.

IMO 99% chance neither of them end up spurs players.
Salary wise he's more attainable, he's paid less or roughly the same as Werner.

Whether or not we've got the appetite to add another player at the top end of our salary scale is a different question.

Player wise.. I like it. With everyone fit. you'd go down our spine and think. Vicario, Romero, VDV, Douglas Luis and Solanke. That could have some power.

But for the club to be so careful over the last 18 or so months with cutting the wage bill, only to balloon it again (closer to where it should be) in one window? I can't see it.

It's Rashford then

Tottenham want Rashford on loan from Man United but face competition

Tottenham emerge as contenders to sign Marcus Rashford on loan but face competition from European rivals to sign wantaway Man United star

Tottenham are among a number of European giants who want to take Marcus Rashford on loan from Manchester United.

Spurs are looking to bolster their attacking options and rescue their season despite being the second-top scorers in the Premier League.

However, they could face competition from Borussia Dortmund and AC Milan, with his representatives having jetted off for talks with the latter. Juventus and Galatasaray also hold an interest
If that lazy bastard was ever signed for our club I’d protest every single day. A total fucking waster of a player. He makes Ndombele look like he’s giving a fuck.

Nobody will touch this guy due to his wages and having eyes. The stupid lazy fucker has ruined his career because he didn’t want to run.

He’s everything that is wrong with football nowadays.

I can definitely see it being a case of adding just one top wage instead of 2. So if a deal could get done for Luiz then the RKM deal would be dead in it's tracks. or vice versa.

Thing is, I wanted him to come in when Kane left so that's where my opinion comes from but I also just believe top players are top players an you need as many as you can get.

I don't really see it as stop gap, I see it as signing a top player. He makes us better at LF and RF based on everyone's current form and tbh he also gives us a different option to Solanke at CF as well and I fucking love what Solanke does for us. I just think he makes us more difficult to defend.

we could legit put out a front 3 of beasts:

RKM Solanke Kulusevksi

Those 3 bully any back 4 or 5 they will face.

Top player? He ain't even a top 50 forward (in the world).

We get it, you looooooooove him and fancy a bit of I told you so (who doesn't?!).

But come on my man, bring some reality into the argument.

Ps: Prime Timo was 10 times the player peak RKM was/is/will be.

A true top player beats Martinez 1v1 and delivers France the World Cup. True top players bury easy chances in the biggest games.

I don't want any told you so at all mate.

But he was a key part of the last world cup final and a key player in the France team that reached the Final. He was bought for 90m Euros after having a top class season in Germany.
