Solanke Bournemouth 2023/2024 12th EPL, Christian Romero Atalanta 2021/2022 8th Serie A, Bentancur Juventus 4th La Liga (Bench Warmer). Guess I have to state again, "Top 5 Elite Player".

Another 19 year old punt. He isn't a first team starter. Only came on from the bench. What did and and The Club do that is so Great? Not gonna defend Enic, but this is a strange take Gazza.
He was being sought by many clubs, and by all / many reports from reputable outlets wasn't keen on us until the call from Ange.
The Club and Ange did well here.
I think we should 100% try for him. He is one of those centerbacks who don't seem remarkable but are constantly 8.5 out of 10. Lots of fans of other clubs didn't get the fuss about Toby Alderweireld who is exactly the kind of defender Guehi reminds me of. He's my 100% pick to replace Romero.
In the air I'd agree.... But most teams now play the short game... It's only your Evertons play the long ball... It's all about playing out from the back and saying a higher line. Guehi has pace, his passing is ok, he's good, see him in England team with Rice in front of him... That good defensive DM Is invaluable.... I swear he's shat we need.... But only if we get 2 of either Gomes, Mainoo or Rodrigo de Paul.... Again... Personal tasteI like Guehi, but he’s a level below all those. Wouldn’t be against him coming here because he does bring a calmness and organisational ability to the defence. The stats say he’s very average in the air though, and his passing is just so-so.

Speaks really well for a young man.
He was special for sureAlderweireld was much better with the ball than Guehi. Those diagonal pings were things of beauty
I didn't draw a comparison in playing style not the point.Just in the way other teams fans under rate them. Most fans I meet think you are crazy when you tell them how highly we rate Alderweireld. That was my substantive comparison.Alderweireld was much better with the ball than Guehi. Those diagonal pings were things of beauty
100%.....but that's like me saying that Blachflower is better than Bissouma.... It's easy to say and Undeniable.... The problem is finding the solution in the modern dayAlderweireld was much better with the ball than Guehi. Those diagonal pings were things of beauty

I'm sorry, but he HAS to abbreviate his name somehow

top postAll these players were linked to Spurs by some social media - which shows why the press sometimes to get it right at times. And, yet again, NO I do NOT believe that Spurs were interested in all these players.

Guehi is bang average. Never will be a Rio or John friggin Terry. He's a glorified Matthew Upson.I like Guehi, but he’s a level below all those. Wouldn’t be against him coming here because he does bring a calmness and organisational ability to the defence. The stats say he’s very average in the air though, and his passing is just so-so.
I would say the smattering of U18 signings toward the end of the window is an acknowledgement of the importance of the PL2 and U18 sides as a pipeline into the first team, and with both teams underperforming this season compared to last (no fault of those teams, PL2 side lost Dorrington and Lankshear, U18 side lost Moore) there is a need to shore up the talent that is coming through our own academy with top prospects from other academies. I think we have taken a leaf out of Chelsea's book but we're actually doing it above board, rather than tapping up the parents lol.I like the approach we are taking stocking up on top youth talents. I am sure it will pay dividends as long as we can commit to developing them properly- and to be fair we seem to have improved in that area lately.
It’s almost like Levy or one of his trusted spies lurk around here and are finally listening to some of our good ideas.
Really? I thought he was one of England's best players at the Euros.Guehi is bang average. Never will be a Rio or John friggin Terry. He's a glorified Mathhew Upson.
