I think you have a legitimate point here, most youngsters take time to find their feet and its about spotting talent and nurtering it. There are exceptions who hit the ground running from the get go, and Tel isn't one of these.
But as that's the case, Surely we need players who can perform in the here and now on the left side? We just lost Son. If Tel isn't going to ready yet we are bang in trouble surely?
Also there is no guarantee that Tel will become world class just because he has the talent. How many tens of thousands of incredibly talented footballers failed to make the cut?
