He may have ruined one day in May 1987 for a 14 year-old me and every other Spurs fan, but time has passed, and fair play, he will forever be a Coventry legend. Still their only major Trophy, and maybe the first incarnation of 'Spursy' (along with the League Cup semi 2nd leg against The Arse that same season!)

Nice. It was a crap day.

10years later, Coventry had a better team than us, functionally.

Coventry actually have a better head to head with us in the Prem (W8 Vs W7 + D3). Some younger ones, who mostly know us as good, back in Dec 97 I was at Highfield Road for this delight (Cov 4 - 0 Spurs):
