QuestionNow we play at 60% of the maximum-Jose-level-of excellence.
I don’t believe that if we can only manage to get to 70% after 2 weeks of training + 2 weeks of training before the first match of the restart, that another 4 weeks of pre season would get us to 100%.

I don't think Jose is what we need as a manager and I don't think Toby is what we need as a centre half. But there is no way anyone can, or should fault them for helping out in this current crisis. Well played both of them.

Under the current situation it’s Jose or nothing and possibly for a while! Even if the world gets back to some kind of normality who’s going to chance moving to a different country if there is still a threat managers, players alike.....and what next another tried and tested older guy who’s been round the block and so it’s starts again......

When the prem restarts, probably August 2021 he will just have just one season to prove himself as his contract runs out at the end of the 22/23 season he wasn't going to be given any big money to rebuild this summer and he especially won't when the season restarts. He's done, his frustrations were already starting to show this season.

This enforced stoppage to the season is the best thing that could possibly have happened for Spurs.

On one hand, if the season restarts there's every chance our injured legion will be available again to help push on for the end of the season.
On the other, if it's voided we get to start afresh, in the champions league again despite a truly awful campaign.

Further more, Mourinho can be judged far more fairly with a full squad of players who aren't all fucking knackered/broken.

Then and only then should people be judging him. It seems utterly ridiculous that with no football on and only a shit show from a broken squad inherited, that this thread is still alive and kicking.

It was a setup from the club. Shows Ndombele and Sess working hard after their market price probably dropped this season.

Also takes the pressure off the club for furloughing staff. Dan KP has been a mouthpiece for the club for a while now and the club tut tutting it makes them look like they care.

Given piers Morgan another thing to go on about this morning, hasn't helped us at all :mourfacepalm:

Running around in open space, not touching or getting close to people is about as dangerous as a mid afternoon nap.
Not sure why they couldn't do it behind closed doors at the training ground (making sure they washed their hands before and after touching the door) though.
