I remember he looked decent (for what we paid) in his first season.
Did we ever really find out why he turned up one time on the bench with a black eye? Never seemed to get in the team again afterwards. Whatever happened it coincided with him being finished at top level football.
He was atrocious for Stoke. I remember they got stuffed 5-0 or something again against us and he went laughing and signing autographs for Spurs fans at the end. Not a good look when you're a new Stoke player who just got hammered.
