I, and two generations of my family before me have supported Spurs. They are and were a massive part of our lives and we always wanted to win titles. And we always believed we should be challenging for titles.

Can you explain why I should throw all that away and somehow switch my alegiance to another club, please.

British lads? I've not see many players care about Tottenham like Ossie Ardiles or many care less than say Jason Dozzell. Campbell was a home grown British lad and treated us with more contempt than any player we've ever had. Oh and Parrott is from the Republic of Ireland and they tend to not like being called British for some strange reason.

My argument was that buying titles is a shallow aim and I didn't want that for Spurs. You do.
I don't want a billionaire to come in and flood our club with money and buy every superstar on the planet and win everything, you do. You want Spurs to become a London Man City. I don't.

It's ironic you mention foreign mercenaries when some of the worst abuse on this site has been aimed at English players like Winks, Dele and Rose. Some of the criticism aimed towards Mason has been way OTT in my opinion, blame Levy for fucking things up and having to appoint him not Mason for taking the job and trying to steer us into Europe. The Villa game apart I thought he did an okay job.

I still think you and a few others are being way too lenient towards Levy and ENIC. They're the common denominator the past twenty years. Managers and players come and go but during their tenure we've won one measley League Cup and it's pretty obvious that they're okay with that. Are you?

So unless you employ a manager nobody has ever heard off before it's a failure, unless you discover all your players at birth it's a failure - try telling Chelsea, Liverpool, City that .... I know that giving any credit to the Spurs owners / management is criminal on this forum, but this post is just nuts.

They deserve zero credit on the football side, better infrastructure yes , but that is about resale and nothing else. ENIC treat the Spurs fan base with total contempt and you would have to be living in Thailand not to realise it

Finally, what is your opinion on the club charging at least 50% more than everyone else for the final home game, then parking the fans as far away from the pitch as possible to maximise advertising revenue.

Daniel Levy treats the fans with utter contempt. He milks our loyalty for every penny he can squeeze. He draws a higher salary than all of his contemporaries even though we never win a thing on the pitch.

I think in an ideal world, not many do.

However it feels like the landscape of modern football has changed forever now. The amount of money circulating within the sport is sky high. Billionaire owners have changed the 'minimum requirements' to compete at the top.

If ENIC stays, they will be left behind, along with spurs.
