I forgot Joe Lewis looked like a gangster looks like he's gonna make me an offer I can't refuse.

If they can't afford to take us to the next level then why are they here? That's the real question.

Well I think we all know the answer, because they have no intention of selling whilst it still makes them a profit, they couldn't give any less of a fuck about what that means for the supporters.

They basically have us trapped in their investment scheme with no way out unless someone is going to come in and pay utterly ludicrous money to take us over which frankly I can't see happening.
Yeah he missed the point. We want owners willing to invest more on the team. If they genuinely can't afford it then sell up to someone who can.

The reason we are struggling for form is all on poch, he was doing so much damage behind the scenes when he was sulking, watching training from his office, never spoke to players as he did in the beginning, had arguments with levy and players, and many other things, and hopefully amazon film they made, which upset him, reveals the true poch, and not the false good guy we all thought he was, his true colours came out before his contrived payoff money he was determined to get, and levy knew he had to get poch out, so paid him, but put a clause that he couldnt go to a rival club in premier league, because he is still on our club payroll, so he will go abroad, and good riddance.
Now heres the reason we are playing bad, did you read the stories in papers and magazines a while ago, they were saying pochs training was too hard on the players, i thought nothing of it at the time, poch was reassuring and saying no the players are fine, and the players when asked denied it as well, it was great though wasnt it, closing down fast, speedy fluid attacks, but i think this has caught up to us, and we are not so good closing down or speed attacking, you only have to watch leicester game, and brighton who ran us ragged, wolves, man utd, bayern, and not forgetting the cl final, i saw some games on tv, and all i heard from commentators was the same words, NO ENERGY, NO DRIVE, they look tired, lost concentration etc over and over, their words said it all, we are running one step behind other teams, we lose most 50 50s, closing down and tackling, we are slow, we dont run into space for the ball and the concentration levels are bad , the amount of sloppy goals we give away is shocking, and going back to brighton game, they were faster, stronger, speedy, and we didnt turn up, fucking brighton, we couldnt get to them, they were comfortable all through the match, so dont blame mourinho for pochs bad work, hes inherited a team, and has yet to stamp his mark on it, dele alli is a sub, because the last couple of games hes slipped back to being his brother again, hes scored but hardly in the game, winks is a sub, not first pick, they dont do enough, going by what i have said above, we need rested players playing, so heres my team, gazzaniga, sanchez, foyth, davies, verts, lo celso, ndombele, lamela, son, moura, parrott, all have had rest periods, and could maintain game energy needed, eriksen, alli, winks, aldi, sissoko, dier, wanyama, rose, aurier, sessegnon, peters, skipp, all options as subs, lo celso with ndombele in mid is strong, lamela and son playing wide, and moura and parrott hopefully getting good service from mid, and parrott hopefully getting a good game and possibly scoring, and moura is always dangerous, so yes i would play that team.

Sorry if this is in wrong subject forum, i just get so fed up hearing poch was unfairly treated, and mourinho is a mistake, poch was a necessary sacking, and mourinho is a good winning manager, and can bring trophys to our great club.

Don't be daft. You're welcome to your opinion. Personally I think you will end up very surprised when mourinho fails with these players. The team isn't good enough sadly. Getting out played by teams like Southampton. I know its early days but I do think most mourinho fans thought we would have done a lot better by now. We look clueless & a mess.

I was never enthusiastic about Mou but I expected the positive results to last a good deal longer than a handful of games judging by his track record.

It just goes to hammer home the point that our fall in form was never mainly due to who was managing us.

The decision not to strengthen the squad for 18 months has cost us dearly.

let me give you an example, all the teams that beat us had more energy, they said it on tv,radio, papers, so yes we lack energy, fact, now ask yourself this, why is a top club full of pro footballers struggling with normal match day fitness, it shouldnt happen, but it has, we are too static, not running off the ball, we lose the ball, we lose the 50 50s, and concentration deep in matches, why ?, the teams that beat us didnt outclass us, they had more energy, and the people who say football is just about skill, and not energy, are living in cuckoo land, like i said we have been outworked, not outplayed by skill, we are still playing same players poch did, and they are performing like they are missing that stride, we have to get players fully fit, then we will start doing what we did before, closing the opposition down, running into spaces moving the ball quicker, winning the battles, and keeping our concentration which=wins.
If you dont believe me about the energy, watch an old match when spurs were doing well, about year and a half ago, watch the players movement, then watch a recent match, and see the difference, all the above points, and listen to the commentary, they always mention spurs lack of energy.
When we do the basic thing right in the game, match or outdo energy levels of opposing team, we will beat them.
Its really that easy, and it should be happening, but we can see it isn't, i mean outworked by brighton, and southampton, it was definetely christmas for them, with our gifts to them.

Has anyone seen Avengers etc? I liken our CL cup run last year to holding an infinity stone. We were too weak and it has destroyed us.

Liverpool could hold it, and they improved - they built the guantlet - and won it the next season. This season they will be Champions.

And us? We tried to hold it. But we were weak. It ripped us apart and left the husk of a team that were never quite good enough to win anything. Now, we are miles from winning anything.

Levy - Sell us to MBS!! He may be a murderer and nuts, but fuck it, he'll spend money.

Get in Bale. Get in 4 or 5 decent players in Jan and you MIGHT scrape into top 4.

How we have fallen.

He thinks the players are good enough so I wouldn't expect any major incoming's.
Our marquee signing keeps breaking down and Sessegnon looks afraid of his shadow. Mourinho says Eriksen, Alli and Sissoko are not CMs. And he is not happy about the lack of cover for Kane.

I don't know what Levy thinks, but I am going to be seriously fucked off if I don't see some activity this month. You don't hire one of the biggest names in football, suffer an injury crisis to a squad that already had some deficiencies, and proceed to sit on your hands.

its all about waiting til Jan 31st to see what crap is left in the bargain bins. Levy is currently sniffing around them. But it's all too fresh. He has to waste until there is a rotten stench of failure. Then he'll pounce!
