The passes that mattered were perfect but I do agree he can improve. But what he was tasked with doing, he done well.
The pass on Son’s first goal was superb, perfect weight and led Son the exact right amount.

Wasn’t a difficult pass per se, but how often do you see that slightly over hit or played behind the striker making it so much harder to finish.

Yup, he doesn't get it right as frequently as an elite winger would but he does play with his head up a bit.

Moura with a brains IMO.

I'm still on the fence.

He did get two assists but they were fairly simple passes you'd expect any professional winger to make.

I don't think he's really a goal threat and that will be the issue. In Kulu we already have a forward who doesn't score.

It seems Johnson will probably be our second best finisher, after Son, so I don't think it will take him long to break into the first XI.

A front three of Solomon - Son - Johnson is possible but I think Ange likes Kulu's ball carrying/creativity from the right so Solomon would be the one to lose out but let's see.
Can Johnson play LW like Son used to?

Maybe Son and Johnson swapping it up during the game. Could be a fucking nightmare for defenders.

He's a tricky little bugger isn't he?

Our attacking setup is not complete in any which way. But everyone brings at least something to do the table. Solomon has pace and trickery. Son is a lethal finisher, Dejan has good technique and excellent holdup play for a winger. Perisic has an excellent cross in him and Richarlison is a pressing machine that on his day should be able to finish at a decent rate. We just need to unlock him.

Not to mention Gil coming in with similar traits to Solmon. And now Brennan as well.

100%. It was perfect; rewound three times to my lad - such a basic skill but still holds weight at the top level. Was artistic

Took a shine to him when I saw him make a difference in a few Fulham games last season and chuffed to see him do well in his first proper start today......

Great game yesterday, looked so much better with him on the left than Son, he actually beat players and provided.

Looks as though he will only get better too.

Love it!!

He was very good yesterday. Willing to work hard but can beat a man and his end product is very good. His two passes for sonny’s goals are the perfect weight so Sonny doesn’t break stride. We have so many options in the front three now. Would love Veliz to be integrated and see what he’s got and then we have a great mix of experience and youth in those three positions. Loving everything about this manager and group of players. When you get rid of stale players who were mainstays and replace it with youthful hungry players but still have top experienced players amongst then this is what you get. Big Ange is a shrewd man.

Has anyone got a compilation from yesterday? He was supposed to have made 2 tackles but I am sure there were more.
Fantastic starting EPL debut. I thought he was alright v Fulham.

I've been watching Manor play since was 17 and I can tell you he's a shadow of himself,
every since he joined the Spurs he didn't even try to beat his defender something he has done
since he wore football boots for the first time, very odd to see, not sure if it is the manager instructions
or lack of confidence which he had in abundance,

Having said all that he still a constant threat always looking to play deep, best part about him he still has ways to go, must always play on the left.

He just only really got into the team, it's natural that he'd want to play it safe.

Well if his Saturday performance was a shell of himself, we have a lot to look forward to!

I can say with strong conviction that Ange would never instruct a player not to try to beat a man, so I’m sure it’s just down to him settling into a new team and not having played much. He looked a little nervous yesterday, totally understandably.

Manor was not bad in the national team, but he needs to work on his finish if he wants to play more in a team like Spurs, he is not sharp enough close to the goal.

But anyway his dribble is fantastic and slowly slowly he becomes the leader of our national team.

I told you Manor is doing everything good but needs to work on his finish.

Happy for your win against Sheffield, but now i wonder if Manor will get more chances in the starting eleven.

COYS!!!
