I hope we actually do plan C for Madrid. Madrid are an easy team to wind up get Aurier and Rose to rile up a few & hope for a couple of early reds. Long ball to Llorente knock down to Janssen who accidentally sets up Kane :-)

I would say picks itself. We aren't going to let our record signing rot on the bench, time to get him in there right away, learn from the best and get this tactic nailed down. Two genuine pacey powerful wing backs to provide our width, Wanyama and Dembele to free up Eriksen, Alli and Kane to do their damage.

If we find ourselves struggling to break down teams with our style, then I would probably bring off Wanyama for Son and take a defender off for Llorente in all honesty:

Lloris
Aurier - Alderweireld - Vertonghen - Rose
Dembele
Son - Eriksen - Alli
Llorente - Kane
Would be the way to go. Dembele just sitting in front of the defence, Eriksen would drop a little deeper in all honesty but not to the point where he's sitting alongside Dembele. Son to run at the defence with pace, Alli to run behind with Llorente used as a focal point when whipping balls into the box.

I'd personally also like to see this when we play in some of the cups if we're against lower opposition:

Vorm
Trippier - Sanchez - Foyth - Davies
Dier - Winks
Son - Lamela - N'Koudou
Llorente
This is obviously basing it on everyone being fit. Sanchez and Foyth may aswell start being groomed as our future centre half pairing. Both younger than 22 with a decade plus left of their careers. Trippier and Davies providing brilliant back up. Son and N'Koudou providing the pace and width with Lamela's creativity in behind Llorente, who should find himself loving the crosses Trippier provides. Dier also has the versatility to move into a back three with Lamela dropping slightly deeper.

We're well stocked in my opinion.
