If he was good, Bayern wouldn't have let him go, seeing as they desperately want a backup for Kane. He hasn't progressed at all since they signed him a few years ago.

If he was at a serious PL club & working with a manager who knows his football, he'd do a lot better.

Look at what Emery is getting out of Rashford & Asensio...or Eddie Howe with Murphy & Joelinton.

There’s nothing in his attitude that even remotely resembles Tanguy.

When you see the technical ability, the work rate on the pitch and the attitude off it, sometimes you just need to have a bit of patience to see through the temporary form issues.

The problem is that we didn’t need to sign a player who required patience, we needed help right now. Which is a classic symptom of the way Levy’s model works. He prioritizes the deal that’s offered over the squad needs.

By the time we’ve seen Tel really show what he can be, there will be another squad need that won’t be fixed because there isn’t a deal to do for what we really need. It’s whack-a-mole squad building.

Agree, difference is we own those players. We can't spend 60 mill of our budget on Tel this summer when the teams needs so much work.
