I think that Lucas as wing back is more likely right now.Conte seems to like the idea of Stevie B as a Striker so I’d be surprised, but if he feels he could do a job there then needs must. For now I think he’ll stick with Emerson

Bit gutted for him. Its taken so long to get any sort of run and find some form and then this. Sad thing for him is by the time he's fit we'll hopefully have a definate first choice RWB signed.

Conte did try Sessegnon at RWB for 45 minutes one time, maybe that’s another option. He can’t be worse than Emerson.
Conte really likes him and has praised him heavily in the last week, so he’ll get his chances next season especially if (all going well) we have European football. We’ll need to rotate the squad with additional games
Poor sod, on the receiving end of one of the many over aggressive Villa tackles yesterday. Could just as easily have been Kane or Deki facing a long spell out.
On the plus side, he's made a big contribution in the last few games. And I think Emerson will do enough as his replacement. Playing in front of Romero is a lot easier than playing in front of Sanchez. So he should fare better in the current side. We lose a bit going forward, but he'll be decent I think.

His current contract finishes at the end of the 2023/24 season . He's got plenty of time for another 'run'.

Much more likely that we sell Emerson compared to Doc. Doc fits the system more, and has much less interest than Emerson (he's wanted in La Liga).
Doc will most likely be the rotational option next season if we sign a new RWB, and I'm completely fine with that.
