1st post for me here so hi to everyone.
I'm excited by Poch's appointment and hope the 5 year deal really is an indication that for once we may be prepared to give a manager time to actually build something solid.
 
Always annoyed me last season when I saw Poch in press conferences with his translator friend, especially when you hear stories of Guardiola learning German in a couple of months before taking over at Bayern
 
I am surprised people still think he cannot speak English. I thought it was common knowledge the use of the interpreter was just his way of deflecting any uneasy questioning he may have faced from our frankly rabid media who are prepared to twist your words. None of the players at Southampton seemed to have an issue with his communication skills. If anything he should be able to communicate better with the likes of Lamela, Soldado, Sandro, Paulinho, Lloris... Having experienced living in South America, Spain and France.

If anything Tim's terrible use of the English language was probably harder to understand. "oi Robbie, you need to fackin' rahn ahbat, ole ballio in the goalio si"
