Not meaning to call anyone out but someone mentioned the other day that there weren't any players that they could really enjoy in this team (not as people, just as players). If you can't enjoy VDV then things have gone a tad awry.

By some considerable distance my favourite player on any team, in any league (with a touch of bias thrown in).

Attackers mate. He is a centerback despite the licence to go forward. And that's what life is subjectivity some people like olives some don't. He's a quick defender like Walker not Glenn Hoddel or Luka Modric. Sprintings great Adams Traore's really good at it too. They are the kinds of footballer I personally enjoy.

His passing and on the ball decisions are class for a CB - not outstanding, but done very well. I love watching Romero play too. Porro class too

I rate them all higher than our attackers, and enjoy watching them live

Completly disagree, let's not forget what happened to Van der Ven last year!!!

The goal (2nd goal) came as a direct result of us not pressing high up the pitch effectively. There was zero pressure on Joelinton. That's it.

This is a decent defensive line, the only potential issue would be with Romero moving up the pitch rather than dropping....... But Joelinton is not pressed, the closet man is Madders, which is a bit of a mismatch in the first place. Golden rule of every Highline, YOU MUST PUT PRESSURE ON THE OPPO PLAYER ON THE BALL>
