Keeping Kudus quiet at the expense of Xavi, Muani, Bergval is just not going to happen now.
i know what you mean, he does need tuning up by frank. hes never going to be pure silk, hes a battering ram of a winger who will challenge the full backs physically rather than raw skill, but if frank can tune him to use the ball better and sharper then hes going to be a joke for us.

not sure hell ever be that player, one things for sure tho, hes a huge upgrade on johnson over 90 mins. when kudus is the weak link and needs upgrading next, well be in pretty good shape.

Xavi-Lucas-Sarr-Kudus is a pretty excellent attacking CM lineup. I'm really loving the combo we saw today.
LW remains an open question mark though as to when Xavi gets played at CAM... Seems like something we will have to address in an upcoming transfer window. Or maybe one of our attacking band can step up into that role (RKM? Johnson? Odobert?).

And he needs a goal to get going. It’s not like he didn’t start with 2 excellent assists for Richy and create a bunch of dangerous situations for us today. Was denied a perfectly good assist for Romero as well
He’s really good even when he’s not scoring or assisting. He was our best press breaker today.
Plus officials stole his assist for dissallowed Romero goal.
Freeing him from the burden of having to be goal creator from open play really allows him to be his best self.
I was skeptical of this purchase, but between his technical quality, work rate, the variety of ways he contributes, that bit of unexpected magic, and still only 25, it looks an excellent piece of business now.
I think he should practice more often shooting with his left foot. Like Salah. Salah is very selfish like that and there are not many left footed players that can cut inside on the right and shoot with their left foot. Kudus has those/such skills but he does other things so he rarely utilizes that particular option. To score more I think he should practice that more heavily.
