Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I only just noticed that the BBC website has a voted MOTM but thought it might be interesting (for some) to see what a more extensive group of supporters than TFC posters (many of whom with prejudices) think of our player's performances.
I might go back to previous games and post the votes if I find time in my hectic schedule..

You're having a laugh aren't you?
I bet loads of them are 10 year olds who vote for the same player most games.
It'll be no more or no less bias than here.

Why do you think the BBC is going to be any fairer or less prejudiced? It’s a poll that’s open to all so it won’t just be Spurs fans voting it’ll be supporters of other clubs too. How unbiased or fair are Chavs and Gooners going to be when voting?
We may have a few supporters here with prejudices, but they’re the minority and overall the views tend to reflect what I encounter in the real world.

Well, the idea is to get different POVs than the usual suspects who in the old ratings threads used to vote 1 or 2 for players that they do not like no matter how they played.
I'll keep this thread going for at least a few more matches to see if the BBC voters also have prejudices. Eg Hojbjerg produced a better then 4/10 performance.

Winks didn't play in the Brighton match so there's no '1' on that list.

Joking aside, I don't see how Son earned a 6. He was a spare part for most of the game. Pierre was way better than a 4.

But polls are wank anyway. They're too simplistic. A player can be a 3 one minute and a 9 the next in this game.

BBC MOTM is a joke, far beyond a joke, the only surprise is that Son got such a low rating, must have been late over in South Korea. Check all the other ratings of previous matches and you'll see he's almost always 1st or 2nd in the ratings.

February alone. He was either MOTM for Spurs or 2nd on BBC MOTM. Spurs Official social media don't even bother with MOTM ratings when we lose.

With Son, it's not just Korean (his fanbase is worldwide).. but he has a much more engaged audience than say for example Kane.

For example Kane has 12.2 million followers on Instagram, His last post after the win was liked by 149,468 people.
Son 'only' has 5.9 million million followers on Instagram, but his last post after the win was liked by 526,480 people.

You see the same thing with the comments on their.. point i am making is that he has a much much higher level of engagement form his social media following. And i guess that also equates to some of his followers when it comes to ratings on websites etc..

Thanks for that. I wasn't aware of the sheer numbers on twitter.
But I don't see many Koreans even knowing about a BBC vote.
It's not like they're scousers..

The British media is one of the most biased when it comes to this kind of stuff. Then again, I can only read English so don't have much to compare it with...

Take a look at the Evening Standard's comments about Kane yesterday.

"Finished with a hat-trick of assists, and created chance after chance for Spurs from deep positions. Didn’t have a clear sight of goal himself but he didn’t need to."

Kane literally had 2 big chances missed yesterday. Lol!
